~Chapter 27~ Mad Man.

"I will see what I can do." One of the paramedics said as they ran over to where Felix and Jack were.

The other paramedic and I walked over to where Mark was.

"Mark!" I said running into his embrace. He stood there and held me, but the officers were trying to get him off of me.

"Ma'am We need to get statements from everyone before we can allow you to be together." One officer stated.

"Well officer, If you plan on getting a statement from either of us, you will let him come with me to the ambulance. And your friends over there will do the same with my other two friends. "

"Ma'am I understand you have been through a lot but that just isn't aloud."

"Well Sir, Then I refuse to give you any statement at all, Which is my right as a US citizen. Meaning you have no statements, so you will not be able to keep or charge the man who did this. You will just have to let him back out on to the streets."

"Fine. You may go, But we must be there to assure you don't try to discuss what happen and change the story."

One of the officers walked over to where the others were, with the other paramedic, Felix, and Jack. Mark and I started walking with the paramedic over to the ambulance. I stayed in Marks embrace as we walked. We were almost there as I started to collapse from the pain returning to my leg. I braced myself for the impact but it never came. I opened to find myself in Mark's arms, as he carried me the rest of the way. I sat on the gurney inside of the ambulance, Mark, Jack, and Felix just stood outside watching. I didn't realize how much blood there was until we were in the bright ambulance that was covered in all white. My clothes were ruined, especially my pants that were now sliced from my hip down to almost my knee.

"Luckily the cuts were not to deep. Almost as if he wasn't attempting to kill you. But I do suggest we take you to the hospital. Even with them not being deep, they are pretty large in size and will be painful for the next few days, possibly weeks, while they heal."

"So basically your saying You can't give me anything for pain so I need to see a doctor for that?" I asked.

"Yes but also for the doctor to re-clean them just to rule out the possibility of infection. And they may decide you need stitches in the one on your arm. It was slightly deeper than the other two."

"I do not what to go to the Hospital. I would just like to give my statement to the officer and then go home with my friends."

"Y/N You Are Going To The Hospital." Felix stated.

"No I Am Not." I answered.

"Yes You Are." He replied.

"I already said I am not going. I am tired of seeing the inside of every hospital we go near. All they will do is give me pain meds for these and I don't want them. So whether you like it or not Felix. I am an adult and I have a right to refuse transport and treatment."

"Are you serious? You can't do that. You Have To Go. Tell Her She Has To Go." He said to the paramedics, "You cant just refuse to go to the hospital if your sitting in an ambulance."

"Actually Sir, She has every right to do so if she pleases."

"What? Are you kidding?"

"No Felix. I'm not." I said as I went to climb back out of the ambulance.

"Ma'am," The one paramedic spoke, "We can not give you any pain medications, but I can give you these." she handed me two tubes.

"One is an anti-bacterial cream to help keep it from being infected, the other is a cream to help with pains. It more or less numbs it some. And these," She handing me two rolled up bandage wraps and a few packs with gauze. "There is a wrap for you leg and one for your arm. And the gauze packs are for your neck, in case you need them."
