James and Lily: Just Another Love Story (Jily Fanfiction)

*Myer's POV

I told Lily to kiss him, not make-out with him.

*Jen's POV

Damn girl! Go Lily!

*Alice's POV

I think Lily had finally lost it...

*Sirius' POV

Go Prongs! Finally getting some action from the 'love of his life'!

*Remus' POV

Damn it! I owe Sirius ten galleons.

*Peter's POV

I'm just going to back into the corner and pretend I'm invisible.

*James' POV

I'M KISSING LILY EVANS!

*Lily's POV

Okay, so maybe I got a little excited. When I pull away, we just kind of look at each other, shocked.

"Wha-"

"It was a dare." I say quickly and then run into my dorm. The others follow quickly.

"You know the are was to kiss him, like one single kiss, not make-out with him." Jen says but stops as soon as I glare at her.

"Well at least she knows how she feels." Alice says.

"I need some air." I say and then turn and walk back out, fast. I hope in vain that the boys don't see me. Once outside I feel a lot better, the fresh air helps clear my head.

"Lily?" I hear a familiar voice say from behind me.

"James, I swear to god it was a dare."

"Doesn't mean I didn't like it!"

"Ugh, James..."

"Just admit it; you loved it."

"I'm not admitting anything."

"Come on Lily! Go out with me and we can do a lot more kissing!" He says, wrapping his hands around my waist and pulling me into him.

"James. No." I say, pushing him away. I walk back to the common room where everyone appears to have left. Eventually I fall asleep in an arm chair in front of the fire.

When I wake up I'm in my room and I have no idea how I got there but I know James probably had something to do with it. It's Monday so we're back to work, it'll be nice to hopefully forget everything that happened over the weekend and finally focus on work.

While in History of Magic a note lands on my parchment, it's from Jen and then we end up passing notes for the rest of the class, within five minutes it looks like this:

Lily: It's so funny watching the boys try to understand what Mr Binns is saying.

Jen: I know, they actually look like they're in pain.

Lily: They're all so confused it's hilarious.

Jen: So?

Lily: So what?

Jen: James?

Lily: What about him?

Jen: Has he asked you out they today?

Lily: No, but I don't think he will.

Jen: Well...maybe not this second but give it a few.

Lily: Ha. Ha. You're hilarious.
