Sherlock Imagines

"Ha. So funny," you say extremely (emphasis on extremely) sarcastically to John, your cousin. "But (Y/N), it is funny, which is why Sherlock is scowling at us right now." John jabs his thumb in the direction of Sherlock.

You glance over to Sherlock's brother, Mycroft, sharing an unamused look with him. "(Y/N), I think that it's due time we leave these children to their little games," Mycroft says, getting up. "I couldn't agree more," you say, following his lead.

"But, (Y/N), come on! You usually laugh at things like that," John says. "John, that was when I was five and you were seven. I am now an adult who does not think that such childish acts are funny. Not even remotely. Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important things to do than to babysit you," you say, going out the door of the café.

John sighs. "I think Mycroft has rubbed off on her," John says. "Couldn't agree more," Sherlock says in return, "and to think that she's just a goldfish in deep waters." John looks at Sherlock, confused. "She's not in any sort of trouble, Sherlock, so why is she in deep waters?" John asks.

Sherlock rolls his eyes and leaves the café.

Meanwhile.......

"(Y/N), would you like to go home?" Mycroft asks you. "Yes, very much so," you respond. Mycroft takes your hand. "And to think that you are just a goldfish....." Mycroft whispers.
