It never weirded us out either. And we never knew if the other was serious about all that.
Or maybe we just didn't want to think that our minds were so depressed and fucked up... Not being able to save orselves nor the one we always cherished so much... The one that one time we even loved so much.
Suddenly I sighed this time, while Vittoria was still talking. "Am I boring you?" She asked preoccupied. She knows that if she's boring me with her talk I would keep my mouth shut, to not anger her. But that wasn't the case, I enjoy hearing her stories. I was just bored of my thoughts, they're always the same and always in the way. "No, no. Go on!" I forced the excitement but just because if I didn't do that, she would think I'm lying.
Being a plain person is just a pain in the ass. People would never understand what you're thinking and they would just assume the worst. That's why, when I'm with other people, I just act like the weird and noisy jokester of the group. To tell them everything is alright.
I'm happy and most importantly ALRIGHT.It's the only thing that I can do. I can't complain, after all I don't have problems so, if I complain it's just because I want attentions and I'm pathetic.
I should just die from my stupidity.
"[y/n] STOP!!"
I immediately stopped the car when Vi started to scream. I looked with wide [e/c] eyes in front of me. The light was red and there were several cars before me."Bro, get a grip!" She scolded me. I always get lost in my mind and I knew that this was going to be a pain when I started to drive.
"Do you want to go to a bar to take a coffee?" She asked preoccupied. "No, I'm not tired. I just got lost in my mind." I said sighing and slumping down the seat. It was already late evening.
I rubbed my eyes and then I passed my hand through my hair, moving them back. A car honked and I jumped. "This bastard..." I muttered. The lights just turned green and Vi proceeded to flip off the guy that honked and that now was surpassing me.
'Figures...' I thought. Obviously it was a man. So confident, viscid, immoral, discusting, obnoxious.
Just like my father, just like my ex, just like my male friends.
...'Friends'.Thank God there were exceptions. Like my grandpa.
After a few minutes more, we finally arrived at the little abandoned house. The owner initially wanted to leave it there to die, after the murder of the previous family that lived in there but we needed an house insanely cheap and here we are.
"Creepy..." Said Vi going out the car. I did the same and I took a better look. The house was objectively creepy but for me was sort of meh but I did feel creeped out for it's position. It was a little furter in the forest and it was isolated. There was just this house.
"No shit they got murdered." I commented in a low tone. Loosing interest quickly I returned to the car and I started to take out my bags and I noticed my phone ringing inside one of them. "Do you mind if I call my dad?" Vi asked. I just shook my head and she went a little further away. I took the opportunity to turn off the phone and change the sim card while unnoticed. If she knows that no one of my family knew anything until today, she would borderline kill me.
"I'm back! My pa says hello to you too." She said tapping on her phone. "Yeah, thanks." I said while putting back my phone. I took the heavy bags and I started to walk for the door. "Was that your mother?" She asked curious. "Yeah." I said curtly, lying. I didn't even check who it was, actually. But I did see the numerous lost calls. Vittoria decided to not to dig further and she decided to help me instead. She opened the door, she moved her luggage inside and she helped me to drag the matresses. After we finished I finally looked around.
