Hey everyone, I'm not in the best place right now so I'm sorry if my writing is a bit off or different because of it. This was going to start out as a stock-home syndrome "love" story kinda like beauty and the beast, which explains the photo (haha), but I write how I'm feeling, so instead this story did a full three-sixty and is now about a girl trying to survive her capture. I won't give any more than that up about it though. I hope that you all enjoy this short story.
"Run little girl, run like the mouse that you are." The threatening voice boomed menacing behind the shattered and broken girl who was slumped against the black hard wall. Her jet black hair clung to her face, the blood dripping down like a cursed river, dark and thick. There was no hope for her as the echo of the sound of heavy galloping screamed from close behind. She clamped her eyes shut and gritted her teeth together as the echoes suddenly stopped. She consistently pleaded for this nightmare to end and drugged her one functional arm up to face and covered her mouth and nose in an effort to keep her position a secret. A single tear leaves her clamped eyes and sat on her cheek as if to join her in the agonizing wait for her demise.

(got this photo from https://wall.alphacoders.com/big.php?i=353008, btw so this is not mine, I just thought that it looked appropriate for the scene and also she looks like how I wanted the main character to look so she's staying :) )
What to do now but wait as the screaming silence engulfed the girl. A dragging sound screeched through the room behind her and then sudden silence. It saw her. She knew it, even though the silence was imminent. A shadow crept on the ground towards her and slithered up the wall next to her. The terror happened upon her three days ago and for three days she was still unsure if it was a dream or not. The last thing that she remembers before this was falling asleep. When she awoke she had been plunged into this fresh hell. I

"Why do you run from the inevitable, you worthless mouse?" the bodyless voice boomed in the woman's ear. "It's obvious that you are running out of steam." The woman lunged forward and ran out of the hallway only to fall on her face and skid against the concrete. Steps thundered behind her and stopped directly behind her. The creature reached down and fisted her hair in his hand, pulling her up to his face. "Oh, you're a fun toy, Janet. Just like your mother." The monster dropped her and turned his attention to her arm. A dark haze swarmed the demon, leaving only a silhouette and piercing red eyes. Thunder boomed dramatically and the lights flickered on and off. The haze exploded around the creature and the silhouette began to morph. As the girl's vision blurred in and out, she could see and hear the bones of her pursuer cracking.
The creature groaned in pain. Claws turned into hands and his frame deflated. Shiny hair was the first thing that woman saw, and as her eyes drifted then a leg, then an arm. A man's face leaned down, inches from her own. He smiled, baring his sharp teeth then a strong hand clamped onto her jaw. The man inched closer to her until she could feel his breath on her ear as he whispered.
"You're mine now..." A spike of pain ran directly through the woman. From the center of her chest to the tip of her fingers and toes. She screamed, the wails increasing as time passed. The woman looked down and what she saw brought her to tears. The man was carving his name into her abdomen.
"Logan," she whispered. Logan looked at her. His eyes piercing and locked with hers.
"It's master to you," he spat at her through gritted teeth. The woman's eyes closed and, finally, slipped away from consciousness.
