Light in the darkness

Chapter six

With silent steps, (Y/N) started moving and reached a big double door. She listened carefully if there was a noise and opened the door slowly. ''Wow amazing...'', she thought and watched the big throne hall with awe. There was so much space. Her feets felt comfortable on the red carpet and she walked forward till she was in front of a black and empty throne. With the light of candles which were lit beside the throne, she could take a closer look of the big ruler chair.

''A splendid throne for a allmighty knight..'', she whispered and chuckled.

''Who are you?'', a sudden voice echoed through the hall.

(Y/N) froze in the spot. ''This isn't Dark's voice...'', she thought and slowly turned around. There was a creature standing at the other end of the hall. She couldn't answer and just watched the person coming closer. Step after step she could see that it was a male demon, dressed as a butler. He was much older than herself, like her father. ''I will ask you once more young lady. Who are you?'', the demon asked and watched her with his deep black eyes. ''(Y/N)...my name is (Y/N).'', she stuttered and could feel her body trembling. The demon stood before her, his hands resting behind his back like an old man and was in deep thougth. ''Why would a young lady like you come to a cruel place like this? Are you an underling of lady Cia? If that's the case, i recommend that you will leave immediately. Master Dark is already sleeping.'', the butler explained calm, but she could hear his anger in his voice.

''I don't know a person called Cia and i am no underling of her. Sadly i am an underling of Ganondorf.'', she said and watched the ground with a long sigh. The demon was surprised and felt relieved that Cia wasn't the cause of her visit. ''Oh i see. So underling of Ganondorf. Why are you here? Do you have a message for Master Dark?'', he asked and sounded much friendler than before. (Y/N) relaxed and a smile came to her lips. ''No there is no message. You see, i am under the command of Dark now and i have no place to stay. I came here to get a room at his castle.'', she started and smiled kindly at the butler. He was stunned by her beautiful smile. He didn't care if there would be punishment, he wanted to help her, but he knew that his Master was difficult to handle. ''(Y/N), i am not allowed to decide. I am afraid that we have to wait till our Master is in the mood to get up. That will be hopefully in a few hours. You see, we had a guest and it was...how should i explain it...a bit exhausting. I am too afraid to wake him up now. There would be consequences if i do that...'', the butler said with worry in his voice.

''Yeah i know Dark's temper..What's your name?'', (Y/N) asked kindly.

''My lady, my name is Henry. I am one of Master Dark's servants here. I am very pleased to meet you. It's a pleasure to speak with such a beautiful and polite woman.'', he said and smiled at the young girl. (Y/N) was happy that there were also normal monsters in such a cruel world.

''Henry i will speak with him now. I will handle that. You see i am here, because my home was destroyed and i was captured by Ganondorf. I had a hard time at his prison, so show me the way to his room. I want to have a word with him now.'', (Y/N) said confident. Henry was shocked and couldn't say anything. He stuttered that she had to be careful and she wouldn't survive his exploding attidute. With hands and feets he was explaining to just wait and avoid his anger. (Y/N) started to laugh of his funny behaviour.

''You are not going to listen, or?...'', he sighed and watched the girl with raised eyebrows. She shook her head playfully and smiled. (Y/N) didn't care if there could be punishment. She felt so much pain and survived so much horror. There was nothing that could stop her.

The butler showed her the way to Dark Link's room. Every corridor looked the same, dark and empty. Without any decorations. It looked depressing, but (Y/N) was too happy that she escaped Ganondorf's castle. There was nothing that could change her happy mood.
