After Lydia's freakout in Coach's class, they all walked into Chemistry. They're doing a lab... making crystals.

"Guys, he isn't going to hill her without proof," Carver told them.

"So, what? He's going to test her like he did with Jackson? But when? Where?" Stiles asked.

Carver held up her hand, "I could call him."

"No." Scott shook his head.

Carver looked up, seeing Lydia flipping through a notebook, then she saw Erica and Isaac from the corner of her eye. All of their eyes looked over at Lydia.

"I think here and now," Carver said, answering Stiles's question. Then they raced over to Lydia. Carver sat down next to her, Scott and Stiles pulling up stools around them. Erica and Isaac sat down at the lab table behind them.

"Einstein once said, "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity", and I'm not sure about the universe," Mr. Harris said as he walked next to Stiles, patting his shoulder.

"I myself have encountered infinite stupidity. So to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments. Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or in Mr. Stilinski's case, less than one. Erica, you take the first station."

As soon as Mr. Harris said her name, every boy in the room raised their hands, except Scott and Stiles. "I didn't ask for volunteers. Put your hormonal little hands down. Start with... Mr. McCall."

Carver looked back at Erica, seeing a smirk on her face. Well shit. "Ms. Williams, and... Stilinski." Mr. Harris immediately regretting it even though they were the last two to be assigned.

"Thank the lord," Carver sighed as she sat by him.

"Do you really think he's not going to kill her without proof?" Stiles started, "He looks pretty determined."

"He looks? Stiles, he's not here." Carver chuckled as she poured the blue-ish liquid into the beaker, "And to answer your question: No. Derek isn't that much of an asshole. And Lydia doesn't look evil, she's just a bit menacing. Last thing, Lydia isn't the kanima."

Stiles shook his head, "She got bit."

Carver nodded, "I know." She said. "But so did Jackson," She whispered to him as she stirred the concoction with a stirring rod.

"And, by the way, he is here." Stiles grabbed her chin and turned her head to look outside. Derek was standing out there, staring right inside the classroom.
