Blue Exorcist (Rin X reader) 2

Rin takes me to a park where we sat on a bench that was pretty distant from the playground. No one could hear us.

"I never really apologized for the way I've treated you since you've come back, I was so stupid and blind to keep messing around with your feelings and I feel terrible about it" Rin says not making eye contact with me

"The past couple of months have been shitty but it's all in the past. We're okay now." I scoot closer to him.

"You're a very tough person Y/N. Dealing with possessed Shiemi and then getting kidnapped, you're strong. I look up to you in a way, you never lose control when battling. You're always focused and you think of many strategies in seconds-"

Rin pauses for a moment before saying "I think I'm in love with you Y/N"

Now he's looking over at me. Our eyes meet and he quickly connects his lips to mine while grabbing my waist.

I kiss back and I deepen the kiss by grabbing the back of his neck.

A blue light shined making me open my eyes and break away from the kiss.

I look at my wrist.. "this is so weird, it's happening again"

"Your sword is glowing too" Rin says as I look over my shoulder

I take my sword out of its carrier and looked at the scabbard.

"I'm telling you Rin, my sword feels different"

"It looks like your sword, I don't think my brother would switch it out. You wouldn't be able to light in flames if it wasn't yours anyways." He says

"Hmm" I open up my sword and I glow in blue.

"You knows what's weird?" I said grabbing Rin's attention

"I don't think I'm a demon. I mean this sword was my mother's originally but I don't recall her being a demon either" I set the sword down on the table.

"You glow like I do when I open my sword" Rin says

"But that automatically makes me a demon? My grandfather should know more about this. He knows a lot about this sword." I said thinking a bit

"Can't you text him?" Rin says making it clear that he doesn't want me leaving town without actually stating it

I roll my eyes as I stand up. "Come on, lets get back home"

Rin and I start walking as my chest all of a sudden felt heavy.

I slow my pace as Rin gets a bit ahead.

I grab my chest as I fall to my knees. "Rin" I said loud enough to make him look at me

"What's wrong? Did you hurt your ankle?" He says with concern

"No, my chest. It's burning." I started breathing heavy

Rin picks me up bridal style "We need to get you some help"

He starts walking further away and the pain became worse as we got father from the park.

"Rin wait! My sword, where's my sword?!" I yelled

Rin stops and looks back. "It must still be on that table"

"Set me down, you'll run faster" I said

He lays me down on the sidewalk, thankfully nobody was around to question.

I look at the blue light coming from my wound, it intensifies as I watch the light travel up my veins as it reaches my heart. I scream in pain and arch my back. The light faded away as my vision got blurry.

I close my eyes and fall asleep.

Rin's POV

I find her sword where she last put it thankfully.

I picked it up as I heard a loud scream "Y/n" I said looking back in her direction

I ran back to We're I sat her down. She looked unconscious.

"Y/N can you hear me? Wake up?" I lifted her head

At least she's breathing.

I put her sword into its sleeve on her back then I picked her up.

I quickly made my way home and yelled for Yukio when I got inside.

"Yukio, Y/N needs help" I yelled as I took her to her room.

I set her sword on her side table as I put her on the bed.

Yukio runs in looking concerned.

"We were leaving the park when she felt a pain in her chest. I had to put her down to run back to get her sword that she left behind, I heard a scream but when I got back to her she was in this state" I said quickly "her wound was glowing again too before we left the park" I added

Yukio's POV

I already knew what was happening. Plan number 2 was already complete. Satan is using the sword to connect to Y/N, if she's away from the sword then things like this will happen. It may even be fatal.

"Rin don't even worry about it, I'll have the nurse who fixed her wounds do a check up on her tomorrow. She probably has asthma."

"Asthma?" Rin said not convinced

"We will let her rest and head to the clinic tomorrow morning okay?" I said a bit more stern

He continues to look worried as he exits her room.

I look back at her sword then at her.

The veins on her arm glowed from her wrist to her heart then faded.

The sword worked.

I smiled as I closed her door.
