So Yi

I got home and I sobbed, I had left everything behind. I left Hoseok's warm, safe arms and presence, I left Taehyungs elderly brother presence. I lost it all just because I had to show people that I wasn't just some weak, little demi-angel.

I wrapped myself up in my blankets, and the next thing I knew? I was asleep.

--

I woke up in an embrace, and I panicked. Who was it?

I opened my eyes and saw Hoseok laying there peacefully, and again, this wasn't my room.

What happened?

"Five more minutes-" he mumbled rolling onto his back and pulling me on top of him. My eyes widened.

"Hoseok-" I whisper yelled and his eyes snapped open.

"So Yi? What are you doing here?" His arms were still around me.

"I-I don't know. One minute I was in my own bed asleep, the next I wake up here..." I was panicking.

"Calm down, take deep breaths for me." He whispered. I nodded and subconsciously laid my head into the crook of his neck taking deep breaths as I fisted his shirt. "That's my girl..." He rubbed my back gently.

I heard footsteps near his door and his eyes flickered towards the door.

"You really pissed them off yesterday..." He mumbled.

"Hoseok?" I lifted my head and met his eyes.

"Yes?"

I kissed his cheek just as the door burst open and I disappeared.

--

I was back in my own bed and I flopped back and sighed, reaching over for my phone that had been on the bedside table ever since I left.

"You've been absent from work for over the three week period, you've missed your disciplinary, so we've had no other option to let you go. Sorry." I read out loud. I read through the text off my boss a few times before shrugging slightly. I didn't need the job anyway now, I wasn't human anymore.

"Sorry for not texting back, it was a family emergency and I had to fly out of the country for a while." I replied back, speaking it out loud before sending it. I lounged about in bed all day before deciding to clean the house up a bit.

This house was bought under my parents name and before they both died they had paid off the house, so I had no worry that I'd be kicked out. But I guess I might as well keep it tidy just in case.

I washed out the litter tray and cat bowls one last time and tucked them away into a cupboard under the stairs before a bang sounded from upstairs.

I slowly tiptoed up the stairs, adrenaline pumping through my veins. I kept as quiet as I could as I looked around the upstairs and no one was there, but a draft was coming through. I went to my bedroom and saw the window open as wide as it could go and a small black box sitting on my desk.

I neared it cautiously before opening the box. Inside there was a necklace, a single black rose on it. I picked it up gently and felt something on the back. I flipped it over and saw a H in cursive letters causing a smile to form on my lips.

Hoseok.
