So Yi
I watched as Jimin disappeared as blood dripped from the sword.
"So Yi..." A voice whispered, arms wrapped around me. I pushed them off knowing already that it was Hoseok.
"Leave me alone." I spoke feebly. I dropped the sword and tried flying up and out the maze but to no avail as a crippling pain spread through my wing and into my back.
"So Yi, let me at least-"
"No!" I yelled feeling the tears brim my eyes. I turned on my head and ran out the maze remembering the route I took to get here and I ran back into the building, peoples eyes wide as they noticed my wing.
"Go to Jin, he'll heal it for you." Someone grasped my shoulder gently and I grabbed their hand and threw them into a wall. Tears brimming my eyes.
"Leave me alone." My voice broke. I ran up to the shared room of Hoseok and I and that's when I noticed the damage to my wing, it was completely bent. Broken.
I broke down sobbing in front of the mirror. In pain and in anger.
I was training to save both the angels and the demons, I was training so nobody got hurt. I couldn't even save my own kind.
Forever passed and Hoseok had entered the room whilst I stared blankly at my own reflection.
"I'm saving him." I whispered quietly, my voice completely broken. "I don't care if it's against any rules here. I'm not leaving my kind to suffer due to my faults."
"You can't go alone."
"It'll trigger alarms if you go, if anyone but I go." I spoke.
"What if they capture you?" His voice was quiet.
"As long as Taehyung is free, I don't care." I shrugged gently.
"You talk about Taehyung a lot. Is he your lover?" Hoseok sounded angry. "Would you rather spend your sleepless nights with him instead of me? Would you rather go to him crying-"
"Enough!" I yelled at him, tears brimming my eyes once more. "I'd lay my life down for Taehyung, you saw that when you ambushed Heaven-"
"Get out!" He spat, his eyes dark as he pointed at the door.
"Happily." I spoke with the same amount of bitterness in my voice as he did his. I stood up.
"If your saving him, don't bother coming crying to me when you get back." He yelled.
"Sure thing! Don't bother coming to me either, asshole." I yelled in return and left the room, slamming the door behind me.
Jin was there.
"Yoongi noticed your wing was- that looks painful."
"Just a bit." I muttered. "Can you heal it in time for me to leave here tonight?"
"I should be able to." He smiled softly. "Follow me to the infirmary."
—
"Yah! So Yi!" Yoongi grabbed my hand as I was stood at the door the the building. Hoseok in the distance pretending not to watch. "Keep safe okay? When you come back, you're always welcome here." He opened his arms for a hug and I fell into them.
"Thank you Yoongi." I smiled softly. "I owe you so much." I pulled away bowing. "Without you I wouldn't be half as strong as I am now."
"Can I cash in one of those things you owe me?" He had a cheeky grin.
"Depends what it is?"
"A farewell kiss. Rumour has it they bring good luck~"
I laughed quietly cupping his cheeks and meeting eyes with Hoseok briefly before kissing Yoongi softly, my eyes fluttering closed.
He pulled away. "I know your aim is to piss off Hoseok, and I'll do anything to help you with that." His smile was wide. I giggled softly.
"Thank you-"
"A goodluck gift from us." Namjoon handed me the sword. Blood cleaned off of it.
"Thank you." I bowed.
"Good luck, you're going to need it." Jin smiled.
