"I'm not eating," she informed him as he unlocked and opened the cell door after hearing Orpheus' command within his head to bring her for dinner.

"That is no longer your decision to make," he reached for her forearm.

"Like hell if it isn't, I'm getting the fuck out of here the moment I can," she snapped back only to be confused by how roughly he squeezed her bicep before yanked her towards him. Their bodies colliding with a soft thud. "If you want to survive this as you say you do, I suggest not saying that again. Especially not around any of them or else they will make sure that never happens. Do you understand?" The force of his grip making Orion's impassive face crack as she expressed her pain only to stare up into his eyes. Their proximity making her feel things she didn't understand. Giving him a small nod, he finally gave her space to now drag her out of the cell room.

As they walked up the stairs and into the ridiculously large, extravagant dining room all eyes were on her. Orpheus sat at the head of the table with Lilith seated off to the side of him, Kali a few seats away while human men and women were strategically seated between all of them. All of them dressed similarly to how she was. "What kinda weird shit is this?" Orion asked, not caring if they could all hear. Without answering her Everest aggressively pushed her into a seat at the furthest end of the table.

"Ah my spice, you look insatiable," Orpheus licked his lips as he spoke. His fangs prominent, "too bad your blood will not be consumed tonight. As tonight is your training."

"Let me tell you something you-"

"Did he ask you to speak, hunter?!" Lilith slammed her fists on the table, rattling everything that sat on it.

"Does it look like I give a flying fuck, pet?" Orion snapped back, earning a small chuckle from Orpheus as he leaned forward and used his hands to hold his head up. Fingers folded together as they rested underneath his prominent, sharp chin.

"Pet?" He asked amused.

"The way she begs for your attention, I only assumed." Her eyes shooting daggers at Lilith. All the human's breaths simultaneously hitched at the encounter, never taking their eyes off their laps.

Orpheus' uncontrolled laughter filling the tense room. Lilith glared back at her, her veins darkening as she wanted to rip her to shreds. Without the okay, she would never disappoint Orpheus.

"As much as I appreciate spice, there comes a time when the heat must be turned down," he was just in his seat and Orion didn't even see how or when he was besides her. Now slamming her face into the table in less than a second, "learn your place." His red eyes now locked with gray as he twisted her arm behind her back, threatening to snap it.

Everest watched, trying not to react physically before turning away.

Orpheus following his son's lead as he released her, "oh my spice, we are going to have so much fun together," he placed a quick kiss on her cheek before sitting back down in his seat.

She refused to keep her head down low, not caring about the fanged smile on Lilith's face from her public humiliation. "Now," he clapped, "you've finally shut that beautiful mouth so that I can explain why you're here. These humans are here for our meal of course, but your meal will be served," never losing her unrelenting pride she locked eyes with him; the thing she has studied and tracked for months, "you will eat alongside your enemy. Watching us do what we were cursed.. no... blessed to do."

All the humans tensed but never moved, they were completely submissive. Orion looked at all of them, knowing she could never be this way as she'd rather die. The pity and guilt she felt was overwhelming, making her grip the arm rests on her chair, making the leather squeak. The moment the servant placed the plate full of delicious smelling food before her, all the vampires, stared at their meals. Orion sworn to protect humans and she refused to not fulfill her purpose as she lounged for the sharp cutlery. In an instant she sunk a butter knife and fork into Everest's neck, before he pinned her arms beside her in the chair. The vampires all hissing in their direction as Orpheus rose from his seat at the opposite end.
