Can you keep a secret? (Hidan x reader)

I walked out of Konan's room, following her lead into the main room. Everyone was sitting around, occupying the many seats. The blue man, Kisame, sat next to the Uchiha and Konan sat next to Pein. Unfortunately for me there was only one seat left and that was in between my father and Hidan. I walked over and sat next to him, unfazed. All eyes were on me and I knew it, I just chose to ignore it. "(Y/n)", Pein calls. I look up, meeting his abnormal purple eyes. "Yes", I reply, calmly. "Tsume has informed us of your past, is everything he told us correct". I nod. "Yes, what he has told you is true". Pein nods and looks over at Konan. "In the Akatsuki we are partnered but since everyone already has one I will be adding you to another group, making you a three". I nod. I wondered who I would be chosen to go with. Maybe Itachi and Kisame, they seem chill. Sasori and Deidara seem fine at the moment and I'm definitely not wanting to go with my dad. There are also Tobi and Zetsu, Zetsu keeps eyeing me up like I'm food or something but Tobi seems cool. Energetic, childish, funny. Lastly there's Pein and Konan, I don't think I'll be put there though. "Who am I with?", I ask. His head turns and he looks at the blonde and redhead. "I'll be putting you with Sasori and Deidara". I nod and look over at the two. Sasori looks emotionless and his heart beat is steady, he is unfazed. But Deidara is a whole different story. His face is red and his heart is going crazy. His sapphire blue eyes met with my (e/c) ones, this seems to make his heart beat even faster. I raise my eyebrows and adjust my mask. "Ok". I wasn't quite sure how else I was supposed to answer to that, I just remained calm. "Dismissed". Pein then got up and walked into what I assume is his office. I wasn't quite sure what to do so I just sat there. Suddenly Hidan pulls a pack of cards out of his pocket and slams it on the coffee table in front of us. "Who's up for a game?", he asks with a smirk. Kisame and Deidara nod and watches as the silver haired man deals them some cards. He turns to me, his magenta orbs meeting my (e/c) ones. "Wanna play?".

I smirk and nod, taking the cards he is handing me. I look down at them and then up at the others. "What are playing?", I ask. "Poker", Kisame says, looking through his cards. I nod and look down at mine. I notice that the blonde's heart his speeding up again, I look up meeting his gaze. "You alright there?". He nods and clears his throat. "Yeah un, I was just curious as to why you would want to gamble. You know cause Kakuzu would never bet money". I smirk and fan my face with my cards. "Its not gambling if you always win". The others were quite confused as to why I had said that but they will find out soon enough. Each of us pulled out a certain amount of money and placed it on the table, we all agreed on 200,000 Ryo. "Are you guys ready?", Kisame asks. We nod and the game begins.

Timeskip

I place my cards on the table and look up at everyone, their mouths hang open and their eyes are widened. "Got anything better?", I ask. They all put their cards down and they have nothing close. I pull all their money towards me and start counting it, unfortunately for me there was a certain man sitting next to me doing the same thing. The three males sat and watched. "They're like the same person, un", Deidara said quietly, but loud enough to be heard by all of us. I turned my head and met the gaze of my father, I had forgotten he was there. I pick up all the money and smile at the other three behind my mask. "Call me if you want a rematch". I then walked away, disappearing into my bedroom.

I grit my teeth and fall face first into my bed, waking Tsume up in the process. "What are you shitty about?", he asks. I sigh and roll onto my back. "Ugh the blonde compared me to the old bastard", I say. Tsume chuckles and moves over so I have more room. "I told them all about your past, they understand the situation you're in". I nod and turn my head so I'm looking at him. "I've been put in a team with Deidara and Sasori, do you know much about them", I ask Tsume. He blinks at me, a smirk appearing. "Are you asking me for help?", he coos. I sigh and roll over. "Only their combat styles". "Well could you tell me, I don't want to be taken by surprise". Tsume shifts slightly before speaking again. "The red head is a puppet user, so watch out for secret knives and poisons if you ever fight him and the blonde infuses his chakra with clay and makes it explode". I nod and roll over so I am laying right up against Tsume. "Well I'm going to try and catch a little more sleep", I say. Tsume snuggles into me, falling asleep straight away. I can't help but smile, Tsume is the only good thing in my life. He like a brother to me, he's my only family besides the others in the my big little land. I snuggle into him, enjoying the warmth of his fur.
