[Y/n] pov.
I groaned and opened my eyes. Where was I again? Oh yeah, I'm a prisoner from the Evil Queen. I helped Snow and Charming to escape from her and she got me. The dirty ground was cold and gave me pain in my back. I heard footsteps coming closer and the Evil Queen appeared on the other side of the bars.
"What do you want from me?" I stood up and walked up to the bars. She laughed and flicked her wrist. The door swung open and she looked at me. "Come out, dear! You need to do something for me." I walked out of the prison still a bit worried about what she's going to do.
"Someone told me that you know where I can find the Sword of Justice, so you need to get that for me." She closed the door behind me and put her arm around me. I tensed and tried to shake her arm off of me, but she had a firm grip on my shoulder.
"Don't worry! I'll go with you!" She smiled at me and I fakely laughed. She walked with me to the exit of the cave where the prisons where located. We came to a beautiful palace with guards standing next to doors. She guided me to the palace's garden and she turned to look at me. She flicked her hand and there were handcuffs around my wrists.
"So, where is the sword?" She made me sit down on a bench and I breathed in the soft air. The roses were giving me a safe feeling as they reminded me of my home. A certain rose caught my eye. It was a blue one. We always had that kind of rose in and around the house. My mom used to say that they growed to protect us from dark magic and creatures.
Both my father and mother died because of an ogre who was attacking our village. My father used to have this special sword that's called the Sword of Justice. When you kill somebody or something with it, it dies with the pain it deserves. My brother promised me that he would protect me and trained himself everyday to get the best at swordfighting. But on a certain day, when the dark one tried to lay his hands on the sword. The sword failed and my brother was killed by the dark one. Since then I put the sword in a save place where it's hidden from everyone.
"Where is it?" The stern voice brought me back from my thoughts and the Evil Queen held a fireball of magic in her hand. "In a..uh..little cottage..in the far end of the woods..." she nodded and smiled to herself. She pulled me up from the bench and pushed me towards the gate from the palace.
We've been walking through the woods for what felt like ages when she sat down on a log. "We can rest for a bit now." I nodded and sat down on a fallen log across from hers. She made a fire, but it was to far away from my log to get any heat from it. And just to say, my legs are burning from the long walk, so I just want to sit down right now. I looked at the Evil Queen and started to think. Why does she need to have the Sword of Justice? Well, okay, maybe to kill Snow White. But no one knows what Snow did to the Evil Queen to make her like this. Should I just ask? Or not... Maybe she'll get mad and kill me... before I could stop myself the words already flowed out of my mouth.
"What did she do to you which made you hate her that much?" She looked at me with an expressionless face. I began to feel awkward as she just stared at me. I turned my eyes away from her and looked at the ground. "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked.." I slumbed a bit down and tried to lay my hands on my lap in a comfortable position, which was quite impossible because of the handcuffs.
"She couldn't keep a secret. Because of her my true love died." My head nodded slowly, but my lips didn't move and my eyes kept looking at the ground. "The blue rose in my garden, it caught your attention. Why?" I swallowed as I felt her eyes following me like a tiger follows his prey. "It holds a special meaning to me. They used to grow around the village that I lived in."
"The village of the protectors..." I looked up at her and nodded. "I'm sorry about your parents and brother." I sadly smiled and shrugged my shoulders. "You can't do anything about it, they died while they protected us." She looked at the sky. It began to darken as the night fell.
"Let's get some rest and continue the journey tomorrow." I nodded and I layed down on the ground and closed my eyes. I quickly fell asleep.
"You'll be next, dearie!" Rumplestiltskin came into my view. "One day I'll get the Sword of Justice and I'll kill you with it!" He laughed and repeated my name. "[Y/N]! [Y/N]! [Y/N]!"
Someone shook my body roughly, which made me wake up from my nightmare. I opened my eyes and saw the Evil Queen infront of me. I sat up and rubbed my legs. The coldness suddenly surrounding me. "Are you okay? You were screaming a lot..." I shivered, but nodded. "I had a nightmare, but I'm okay now." She smiled.
"What was your nightmare about?" I rubbed my eyes and leaned against the log. "Rumplestiltskin." She pulled me in her arms and I layed my head on her shoulder. "He sat I'll be next." She shushed me. "I promise you, you won't! He'll be a dead man when he touches you." I smiled at her.
"People always say you're mean. I don't think you are, I think you've been through a lot of pain." She smiled at me. "Thank you, that really means something to me!" I layed back down on the ground and she layed down next to me. "You can call me Regina." Her hand moved up on my arm and she rested it on my upper side. Sleep consumed me quickly after.
We finally arrived at the cottage where I hid the Sword of Justice. It was an old family belonging and we used to go here for some special moments. We walked inside and I opened the floor, where a stair leads to a little basement. "It's in here, Regina!" She smiled and walked down the stairs. She stopped halfway and turned to me. "You're a free [woman/man] now, [y/n]." She flicked her hand and the handcuffs fell of. I smiled and turned around to see a sketch of me and my cousins. I smiled and remembered the great moments we had. I can have those moments again. Maybe with Regina, if she wants to, ofcourse! She came walking out of the basement with the sword in her hands.
"Do you know a way to destroy it?" I looked at her with confusion on my face. "Why would you want to destroy it?" She placed it on the wooden table where I used to eat with my family. "It hurt people and not just the people that have been killed with it. I want it to be gone." I nodded and grabbed the sword. I walked up the little staircase that leads to the floor with the bedrooms. I walked into mine with Regina behind me. I searched through the books on my bookshelf and found the one I was looking for.
"It should be in this book!" I showed it to Regina and she smiled. We quickly searched through the pages and found it. The sword will be destroyed when the last protector dies. Regina's eyes found mine and she shook her head. "I promised you that you're not going to die." I shrugged my shoulders. "If it's the only way, then we need to do that."
"No, I can put it away! In a box consealed with blood magic. Then nobody can get their hands on it!" I smiled and nodded, while I picked the sword up. "Was this your room?" She sat on my old bed and I nodded, looking at all the toys I used to play with as a child. "This cottage has a lot of memories."
After a long journey back to the castle, Regina put the Sword of Justice in a box. Sealed it with blood magic and she hugged me. "Do you want to live with me in the palace? It sometimes gets lonely in here and you're great company!" I nodded and smiled. "It would be a pleasure!"
This wasn't a request for somebody, but I just had this idea for an imagine.
If you have any requests you can send them to me and I will write them.
