"Hey baby." Ashly came in and greeted me with a kiss.

"Hey. How was rehearsal?"

"It was great." She said like Tony the Tiger and laughed. "Danielle got us so pumped for this show and I honestly cannot wait."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yep."

"Where it's going to be at?"

"Jackson, MS."

"Mississippi? Dang I thought y'all would be going to the A or New York I was going to try to come."

"We already had the New York show and Atlanta is weekend after next and you can still come. I can ask Frank if it'll be alright if you ride with us." She replied as she moved my arm and sat on my lap.

"Nah that's good baby. I'll just try to catch a live stream or see the video when someone post it."

"You sure?"

"Yeah plus I have some stuff I have to finish out here."

"Okay. How was your day, you do anything interesting?"

I looked from one side of the room to the other and shook my head.

"Nah, just the usual things I always do."

She nodded her head and said that's nice. We sat in silence for a good little minute until she broke it.

"I have a question for you."

"And I may have an answer for you. Wassup?"

"You remember when I told you Danielle was going to start giving us choreography for the shows?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, well you know that show that I always watch on Wednesdays and I tried to get you to watch it with me?"

"You talking about that show Luke and Elijah just joined?"

"Yeah, STAR."

"Oh yeah I know what you're talking about now. What about it?"

"The girls of that show- Ryan Destiny, Jude Demorest & Brittany O' Grady they have this song called Damn Daddy and Dan thought it would be a great idea if the girls and I did it for the show.

"Oh that's good babe. If your question is will I be alright with you dancing on another nixga while I'm not there then the answer is no. I won't be okay and you're not doing it."

She leaned her head up off of my chest and stared at me as I took a sip of my lemonade.

"Keith."

"What?"

"Are you serious right now?"

"As a heart attack."

"Okay first and foremost that- singing and dancing, is my job, okay. It's how my bills get paid, food is stocked up in my refrigerator and cabinets and how I get everything I want and need. So for you to say I'm not doing it is a little overboard don't you think. And secondly why won't you be okay?"

"Did you not hear the words you dancing on another dude while I'm not there come out of my mouth."

"Ever heard the word professionalism?"

"When it comes to a male and female dancing close, nah never heard of it."

She scoffed and got up walking upstairs and mumbled something.

"What you said?"

"I said you're being ridiculous."

"I love you too baby. Can you go into the kitchen and make me a sandwich?"
