Ashly was a good girlfriend to him. The girls he used to date in the past never did things for him that Ashly did. Ashly always made him happy and brought joy to his life. Whenever he was nervous about a role he had to audition for she always helped him with it and she assured him that everything would be alright. She was always there for him and now he messed it up.

It's been two months since she's been gone and every time he calls her phone she doesn't answer. He used to get the voicemail but now he doesn't even get that. He thought about calling the police and filing a report but Candace told him not to because she always did the same thing when she went through her previous break ups. The girls told him that she texted them and said she was fine. For some odd reason Keith didn't believe them. He had to hear from her himself. He needed to see her himself.

It's been two months since Keith told Ashly everything and ever since that, she has left and not come back or even called. The girls have sent her messages asking her if she's alright and the only thing she says is she's fine. When they ask her where's she located she leaves them on read and doesn't respond. She doesn't want anyone to know where she is. She doesn't want to be bothered by anyone.

Ever since she found out Keith's secrets & ever since an incident happened to her, she hasn't been in the mood to be around anyone or be in the "spotlight." She just wanted to be left alone and have nothing but peace & quietness around her. When she came down to her destination, she had her main phone turned off and she brought another phone- that way she can know what's going on with everyone else and no one can know what's going on with her.

To hear her boyfriend say he vented and even consider having another baby with another woman did something to her. She's been hurt before but nothing like that. Those words...those words broke every piece of her heart. She felt like she could never be whole again. She felt lost. She felt empty. She felt heartbroken. She felt betrayed.

As she laid in bed she heard someone knocking at her door.

"Come in." She said above a whisper.

Her door opened and in came her grandma, Angela. When she saw her granddaughter laid across the bed, facing the wall her heart broke for her. She was always so used to see her up, happy, laughing, singing and just doing something to make her presence known and make others smile/laugh.

"I know you said you don't want to talk to anyone right now but baby your mother has been calling my phone left and right complaining about not seeing you."

"You didn't tell her I was here did you?"

Angela sighed deeply as she sat down on the bed.

"As much as I wanted to, I didn't. But when she mentioned calling the police I had to hurry up and tell her not to and that you would come home soon."

"Ashly baby it's been two months, if you're not going to go home at least tell them where you are."

"Why should I? So they can come on down to Mississippi and come get me? So Keith can tag a long and continue to beg for my forgiveness? So they can find out that-"

Angela's face frowned up when she stopped in the middle of her sentence.

"So they can find out what Ashly?"

"Nothing grandma."

"Ashly, if something happened to you when you left this house, you would tell me right?"

Ashly stared straight ahead and waited a while before she responded.

"Yeah grandma."

Angela looked at her for a moment then she got up and walked out the room and walked into the living room.

"How is she holding up Ange?" Her husband, Kenny asked.

"Still the same Kenny. She won't talk, she's hardly eating and the only time she leaves the room is to get something to drink or a little snack."

"Well baby what do you expect? She did go through a break up."

"I know that Ken but break ups don't have you acting like that and trust me I know because you and I have had plenty of break ups throughout our years of dating and even being married."

"Ang everybody is different."

"Might be true but it's something more that has her acting like this."

"Angela Marie Johnson-Williams I know that tone and I know that look in your eye don't you dare go in there and try to pry something out of that girl."

"I'm not going to pry."

"Yes you are Marie I know you and don't you do it. That girl came down here obviously because she's going through something and she doesn't want everyone in her business. So do her a favor and stay out of it until she tell you something. Got it?"

After cutting her eyes at him and smacking her lips she replied and said got it.

Angela knew something was going on with her baby and she didn't like that she didn't know what it was. Indeed she wasn't going to pry but she also wasn't going to stop checking on her.
