We're Not Alone Anymore

Tony's POV

I woke up exactly how I fell asleep, with Megan in my arms and her head on my chest. I hoped that we could continue our relationship, but was not sure if she actually forgave me.

I got up carefully, trying not to wake her up, and made my way toward the door, going to get coffee for everyone.

Mike was up and watching television. he looked at me, smiled, and said, " So, are you and Megan back together now?"

I blushed and said, "Mind your own business, Mike. I'm going to go get coffee for everyone. Do you want to come?"

"Sure," he said, getting up and putting on a shirt, as I grabbed a different shirt to put on.

Mike and I left and quickly found a Starbucks and ordered everyone what they liked. We returned to everyone sitting on the couch, looking like zombies.

They saw that we had coffee and got excited, thanking us. As soon as Megan finished hers, she said she had to go meet someone.

She didn't say a word to me.

Megan's POV

I woke up to find that Tony had left. I looked at my phone to see it was eight and that I had a new text from an unknown number.

I opened it and saw it was from Austin. It said, "Hey Megan! It's Austin. The guys and I are going to the mall before we leave for Texas. Would you like to come?"

I texted him back, saying, "Yes! I would love to come! :)"

I made my way to the couch when the door opened to reveal Tony and Mike with Starbucks. I drank mine quickly, got ready, then told them I had to go meet someone as I walked out.

While I was walking to Of Mice & Men's bus, I was thinking about me and Tony's relationship. It might work but I kinda wanted to just be friends, the way it was before we dated.

I was at Of Mice & Men's tour bus before I knew it and began knocking on the door.

Alan opened it, poked his head out, and said, "Hey Megan. I don't remember ordering a beautiful girl."

I said, "Trust me, I'm far from beautiful."

He rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever, come in."

Austin and I made eye contact as soon as I walked in. We both blushed and smiled.

Aaron got up and said, "We need to leave for the mall so we will be back in time to leave for Texas."

All the guys got off except Austin. He walked up to me and grabbed my hand saying, "Megan, I think you should know that I really like you. I know that we just got to know each other, but I have already fallen for you. I was wondering, will you be my girlfriend, Megan?"

I was completely shocked. My hero has fallen for me and just asked me to be his girlfriend.

I looked at him and said, "Austin, you have been my hero and I basically know the amazing guy you are. I would love to be your girlfriend!"

He picked me up and spun around, happy that I said yes. He then looked at me as I said, "Umm, do you mind if we keep it a secret for a couple days? I really don't want to tell my brothers yet. They may flip out cause we just met."

He smiled and said, "If that's what you want to do, I'm in. We could just started hanging out more then say we are going out. Maybe by then your brothers won't kill me."

I laughed and said, "I wouldn't let them touch you. We need to get going. The guys are probably waiting on us."

He then looked worried and said, "About that, they know that I was going to ask you out. They can keep it a secret for as long as it needs to be."

I smiled and said, "Let's go shopping now."

When we got to the mall, me and Austin acted as we were just friends, occasionally walking close to each other, but separating when some fans would come up to the guys.

While the guys were signing things and taking pictures, my phone went off.

I looked at it to see a text from Tony that said, "Hey babydoll ;) Can we cuddle like we did last night?"

I replied, "No. Sorry, Tone. I think we need to remain friends. I love you to death, Turtle, and you know that."

I looked up to see Austin standing in front of me. "The guys made their way to Hot Topic. I told them we would catch up to them. Is everything alright? You look like you are about to cry," he said, with a worried look on his face.

We both sat down on the bench when my phone went off as another text from Tony came in.

The text said, "I'm sorry about what happened last tour, Megan. I still love you and I want us to work. Please give me another chance."

Both Austin and I read the messages. Austin then grabbed my phone and sent a message that said, "Being with you right now isn't the thing I need. We can be just as happy being friends. This is the right thing for us to do. Please don't make it any harder, Turtle."

Austin then looked at me and said, "What happened between you guys that made you break up with him?"

I started crying on Austin's shoulder.

After a minute, I regained myself enough to tell him what happened that ended me and Tony.

I said, "Well, we started dating at the beginning of the last tour Pierce The Veil had. It was going great, until the end of the tour when we got into an argument over a guy hitting on me. Tony left the bus at eight and didn't come back until ten. He was completely drunk. I managed to get him to the bunk we shared and told the guys that we needed to have a private conversation,  so the guys left me and Tony alone. My brothers and Jaime think that we argued and broke up, but that isn't the truth. We did argue and Tony slapped me. I was willing to forgive him for it until he told me that he could do so much better than me and slapped me a second time. He passed out right after he hit me the second tome. I woke him up by pouring water on his face. When he sat up, realizing what he had happened, he tried apologizing but I told him we were done."

I could tell Austin was really angry. He looked at me and said, "I promise you that I will never hurt you or let anyone else hurt you, Megan. You made the right decision to break up with him and just be friends."

He then hugged me tight, letting me cry on his shoulder, and said, "Megan, what else are you hiding from your brothers and me? I can tell you're hiding something. "

I pulled away from him and said, "Umm, please don't tell anyone, Austin. No one knows this about me. I'm trusting you with my one deepest secret. "

He looked at  me worried and said, "I promise, Megan. You can trust me with it."

I looked down at the ground and said, "I've been struggling with depression and self harm for almost three years now. I've also been suicidal for the same amount of time. I was clean the whole tome me and Tony were going out but when he said he could do so much better than me, I relapsed."

When I made eye contact with Austin, I saw that he was crying. He hugged me and said, "Please tell me you haven't done it lately. "

I started crying also and whispered in his ear, saying, " I did it yesterday after the concert. There were some comments that pushed me over the edge last night."

He pulled me closer to him and said, "Please don't do it again. If you ever need someone to talk to, call me or come find me. I will listen to whatever you need to say, Megan. I will always be here for you, babe."

I stopped crying and smiled, saying, "Thank you, Austin. We should get to Hot Topic. I heard there's a sale going on and I don't want to miss it."

He laughed, wiping both of our eyes and said, "I wouldn't let you miss it. Let's go find the guys."

We got up quickly, found the guys, and Austin managed to buy me everything I wanted at Hot Topic, even though I told him I would buy it. We made it back right before we had to leave for Texas.
