Megan's POV (Two months later: September 7th)

Tour had been going good for the last two months. We had managed to finish touring in Texas and even finished in Kansas. We had one more concert in Iowa that was going on tonight.

Austin and I were still happy together, as well as Alex and Donna. We even went on a couple of double dates when we had a day off and didn't have anything planned. Alex and Donna looked like a couple of teenagers in love. They were always goofing off, which just proves that they are perfect for each other.

What I thought was hilarious is that me and Austin do the exact same thing. I wonder if people thought we looked like a couple of teenagers in love.

It was noon and the guys had a couple of hours before they had to be at soundcheck. Alex and Donna had came to Of Mice & Men's bus and we all started talking about the concert tonight. "I can't believe the tour is halfway over now. Won't be long before we all will be going home," Austin said smiling.

I saw Alex get tense and get a worried look in his eyes. I knew what it was about without even asking.

Alex lives in Baltimore.

Donna lives in Los Angeles.

Donna smiled and said, "I'm not ready to go home any time soon, but it would be great to sleep in my own bed again." Alex laughed nervously and looked at me. He looked heartbroken and I hated seeing him that way.

I said, "Donna, I thought you said that you were moving out of your apartment when you get back."

She laughed and said, "I have no choice. I haven't paid my rent since I was in LA. The building manager is really understanding and had all my stuff put in storage so when I get back I have it all, ready to go. I want to find another apartment, but if I do, I don't know if I would be able to pay for it by myself. I was struggling with the other one and it was the cheapest one I could find."

I smiled, getting an idea, and said, "How about we get an apartment or house together? We won't buy the house, but we could rent it. You never know, we could find another person to help us too."

Alex relaxed after I said that and Donna smiled and said, "That would be fantastic! You think we'll find someone else to join us while we do this?"

I laughed and said, "Of course!"

Austin and Alex laughed and Austin said, "Well, let's watch a movie until it is time for us to go to soundcheck."

Soundcheck and most of the concert passed quickly. Of Mice & Men were the only ones who had to perform and Austin had told me he wanted me to sing 'Second & Sebring' with them again, which I said yes to.

The guys went onstage and I had immediately started taking pictures. Before I knew it, it was time for me to go onstage and sing with them. "So, we're going to play one more song for you guys. I would like You guys to welcome my wonderful girlfriend, Megan Fuentes, to the stage," Austin said, smiling at the crowd.

I walked out as the crowd went wild. Austin hugged me tight and whispered in my ear, "You ready?" I pulled away, smiled and nodded. I sang my heart out until it was Austin's turn to scream.

I was dancing and jumping around the stage when I tripped on a wire. The last thing I saw was Austin's worried face before everything went black.

Austin's POV

Megan looked so at home on the stage. She finished singing the beginning and I took over from there as she danced and jumped around. Everything was perfect until Megan's foot got caught on a wire and she fell off the stage, hitting her head hard on the stage and falling to the ground in front of the stage.

I immediately jumped off the stage to get to her. There was blood coming from the spot on her head where she had hit the stage and her arm was badly bent, meaning that it was most likely broken.

I heard a lot of screaming coming from the crowd. I managed to block it out as soon as I heard it and picked Megan up carefully, taking her to an ambulance close by. As I approached the ambulance, I yelled, "Please help! She fell off the stage, hit her head hard, and landed on her arm, breaking it! She needs to go to the hospital! Now!"

The paramedics quickly put her on a stretcher and loaded her in the ambulance. Even though they told me I couldn't ride in the ambulance with her, I still got in and refused to leave her side.

I couldn't lose her. She meant everything to me. If I lost her, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. I wouldn't continue my life without her. I couldn't. She was the one and I knew it as soon as I saw her.

She was my soulmate.
