A few days later we put the plan into motion. None of us had heard from our girl since the first email and we were all worried. We'd waited as long as we could but it'd been nearly a week and we were all going out of our mind. Victor managed to track this asshole down, so we knew where to find him. Pulling up to the ordinary looking house, I noticed the curtains at the front twitch and suspected the asshole (none of us bothered to use his name) saw us pull up. I grinned. This was going to be fun.
I got out and leaned against the jeep, arms crossed over my chest. I wanted the best view possible. Gabriel and Silas had been elected to be the first to door. With everything we knew about this guy (which was very little honestly) we figured he'd be a total dick.
We weren't wrong.
The door creaked open and asshole glared at Gabriel and Silas.
"GO THE FUCK AWAY! SHE NEEDS TO COME FUCKING TALK TO ME!" he screamed after Gabriel and Silas told him why we were there. The door slammed in their faces. From the other car, North, Kota and Sean exited and joined Gabriel and Silas at the door. I couldn't keep my grin from expanding more. We'd all come, except Nathan who had a mission. This asshole thought he was all alpha and crap. God, I looked forward to messing with this guy.
This time when asshole answered, he actually looked a bit startled.
"Look, I'm sorry but I need to talk to her and this is the only way it will happen. You ain't getting in here." The door slammed again.
Oh yeah, this shit was about to get real.
Victor grinned at me. "So, now I get to do my part, right?"
"It would seem this gentleman needs more of a lesson, Mr. Morgan." Blackbourne stated. I swear Victor's grin widened even more. He pulled his laptop from a bag in the car and his fingers flew over the keys. I had no idea what, exactly Victor had planned but I knew it would be good.
Blackbourne and I made our way to the rest of the team waited on the porch. I knew the asshole had to know we hadn't left but I didn't care. He deserved everything we were about to give him. I started up the steps then noticed Blackbourne hadn't followed me. What the hell was he....Holy crap! I froze as Blackbourne jumped onto the porch railing crouching there and staring at the door in a that unnerved even me. The others were all staring at Blackbourne too when the door creaked open again.
"Fucking hell." the curse got our attention and we turned back to door where the asshole stood, looking at us with wide eyes. His gaze fell on Blackbourne perched on the railing and he paled.
Flinging the door open, he muttered "Fine. Just go take what your looking for."
I grinned and winked as I passed by him on my way in.
