The Fateful Encounter (Dulse x reader)

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

The walk back home was silent as me and Dulse walked next to each other. The silence however wasn't really an uncomfortable one despite the situation that happened a while ago, it was actually quite relaxing. Not to mention the areas we walked past had some nice scenery.

  When we got home Dulse held the door opened allowing me to go first, him following close behind shutting the door behind him. It was unusually quiet here... I glanced at the clock and my eyes widen slightly.

  "It's already 10:00 o' clock at night?" We've been out since 9:00 in the morning.

  "It seems so, time runs by quickly when you're having fun" I nodded to his statement.

  "Then I guess we should head off to bed as well" I mumbled. I really didn't want to leave him since I was having fun. I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder and turned to Dulse.

  "We can go out again tomorrow if you wish but we should go get some rest first" I couldn't stop myself from smiling as I nodded.

  "Alright" I started feeling excited all over again but Dulse's next action caught me off guard. He placed his hand just underneath my chin and brought my head gently up so I'm looking forward and I felt him press his lips against my forehead. I instantly started blushing at the sudden action but I can't say I didn't like it.

  He lingered there a second before pulling away and giving me a small smile.

  "Good night (y/n)" I mumbled out a small good night as I watched Dulse turn and start heading down the hallway. My blush was still evident on my cheeks as I brushed my hand over the spot he kissed. I soon let out a smile and a small giggle. I really have fallen for him.

  I made my way down the hall as well and came upon my room. I opened the door quietly and slipped inside since everyone else maybe sleeping. I turned on my light flinching slightly as the bright light over took the dark room. My eyes slowly adjusted and I made my way over to my bed. A sigh escaped as I sat down and I pulled out a certain Pokeball. I fiddled with it for a moment before letting the Pokemon out that was inside. It looked around before it's gray eyes soon met with my (e/c) ones and it turned away.

  "Silver..." I muttered it's name and it whipped its head over at me looking at me as if shocked or baffled. I actually got its attention? That's a shocker for me. "Silver I understand that you don't trust me..." I could hear if huff in agreement and look away yet I kept going. "...but I'm not going to push you away any longer, Dulse is right when he said I can't just leave you in your Pokeball. I'll gain your trust and I'm sure that one day we will stand side by side as equals" I gave Silver a small smile as it whipped its head at me. Silver stared at me as if contemplating everything I just said.

  After a moment of just looking at each other Silver nodded then went to lay down in a pile of blankets I had in the opposite side of the room.

  "I wonder where you came from..." I stared at Silver as it laid there staring at the wall. I allowed myself to go into thought, I thought back to when I first found Silver, then to how I caught my other Pokemon, I then started thinking about my old home and everyone in it. I didn't even realize I was gripping the necklace Dulse gave me.

  "Maybe... Just maybe I could ask Lunala to take me back to my home and time..." I muttered this to myself yet it seemed Silver heard me as it lifted its head and stared at me. It had an unreadable expression on its face. I ignored Silver for now and thought about my choice.. After coming to a conclusion I nodded and decided... I'll go.
