When I saw what Lukas like that, I ignored everyone in the cave and went to remove the ice that was covering his body. No luck though. Every time I remove a small piece it just grows back.
"EMIL STOP!" I heard Elizabeta shout. I felt her arms around me, my scales slashing the skin on her arms. "If you continue like this... Leon might die!" She said, her tears making their way to my skin.
"But... but Lukas." I whispered, not recognising my own voice.
"Leave him! He's just a fairy! We're demons, they're our enemy!" She cried.
"But he raised me up..." I said, my hands clawing the ice slower now.
"It was all a lie, Emil! Mathias did this, what Lukas felt wasn't real!" Elizabeta shouted, her voice getting weaker. I felt her grip getting weaker, I could no longer feels her arms around me.
Sharp pain slashed though my body. I looked down and saw a spear dug deep through me and Elizabeta. That was probably why her grip got weaker. I didn't fight back, I was about to lose all hope when I heard a faint whisper. It was my name... Lukas was calling out my name.
At first I thought my mind was praying tricks on me, but when I looked up, I saw that the ice I broke didn't grow back. Light came back to my eyes.
I broke the spear and pulled it out of me, a small gasp escaping Elizabeta's mouth. It didn't matter, Lukas knew I was here.
