On my walk home I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hey." The voice said.

I quickly turned around.

"COLLIN!" I yelled out

I hugged him.

"I see someone missed me."

"Yeah, it's pretty nice to see a familiar face."

We started walking.

"I think I live down the street from you." I said

"You do."

"Yeah, so what are you doing over here?"

"I wanted to see you and see how you're doing." He said

"I don't know I just wish people would stop staring at me down the halls."

"Hm."

"Today Kamiya asked to be friends again, I accepted her offer."

"She just asked you out of nowhere?"

"Yeah."

"Hm, I don't know that doesn't sound right."

"What do you mean?"

"She just asked you out of nowhere Bella."

"She also invited me to her party."

"There it is, don't go."

"Why?"

"Because I have a bad feeling about that."

I stopped in front of Collin.

"But she seems like she finally believes me. No one believed me when I said I didn't do that."

"But the video..."

"Exactly I don't even remember what happened that night."

"Bella I do believe you."

"Yeah, I know."

"Hey, I do remember something but it probably doesn't help."

"What?"

"BELLA! COLLIN!"

Layla ran up to us out of breath.

"Hey, Layla."

"H-hey guys."

"Where have you been?" I asked

"At school but I had to leave early a lot. I heard your friends with Kamiya again."

"Wow, word gets around." I said

"Small town." Collin said

"I am."

"She's up to something."

"That's exactly what I was saying." Collin said

"Come on let's not talk about this. But Collin what do you remember?"

"I remember Jake and Kameron came in the room laughing. I told them to..."

"Be quiet."

"Go back to sleep Collin." Jake said

I laid my head on my pillow.

"Wait what about Noah?" I asked

"Oh, he was sad."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"What are we talking about?" Layla asked

"Camp."

"Oh, that night?"

"Yeah."

"Sorry for interrupting, continue."

"Kameron was like..." Collin started

"Jake I'm proud of you." Kameron said

"Oh shut up, I'm tired as hell."

"I bet you are."

"Noah my man come here."

Kameron wrapped his arm around Noah's shoulder.

"I really feel bad." Noah said

"Eh don't feel bad for that..."

"Guys come on I'm trying to sleep."

"Go to sleep then Collin."  Jake said

"I can't because you keep talking about...  whatever you're talking about."

"They whispered the rest of their conversation then I fell asleep."

We stopped at Layla's doorstep.

"Were they talking about me?" I asked

"It kind of sounds like it. Who else would they be talking about? You're the only one who they were with." Layla said

I put my hand on my head.

"Oh my god."

"I'm sorry Bella." Collin said

"Why are you apologizing? This is my fault."

"How is it your fault?" Layla asked

"I should've done something."

"Isabella, you were crying that night." Layla said

"Why was I crying?"

She shrugged her shoulders. I walked away, Collin ran after me.

"Are you okay?"

"No Collin I'm not, none of this is okay."

"I'm here for you."

"Are you?"

"Yeah."

"It doesn't seem like it."

We walked to my house.

"What is..." he started

"I'll see you... soon."

"Isabella wait."

"And no my window is not open so don't climb through it." I said

I walked into my house and closed the door behind me. Mom is sitting on the couch.

"Hi, mom."

"Oh hi, sweetie how was your day? Did Mrs. Kink change her actions?"

"Yeah she did and my day was... good."

"Good, I'm going out to dinner with my job."

"Okay, mom. Where is Ian? "

"He's over Aunt April's house."

"Okay."

"If you get hungry there's money on the table."

"Okay, thanks, mom."

I walked upstairs to my room and closed the door.
