"so how did your meeting with colt go?"jade asked not looking up from her news paper. jealousy evident in her voice. i sighed before answering.

"it went good, it was nice to catch up...you could have come with me if you wanted to you know"i tell her drying off another plate.

"why would i want to interupt the ledgendery catch up between you and sweet colt black." jade spoke sarcastically. i spun round to look at her leaving the dishes.

"can you stop being so sarcasatic! it was only a catch up between old friends nothing more nothing less okay now stop being a bitch" i snapped at her regretting the words instantly. jade jumped up from her chair.

"im the bitch? im not the one thats running around with one of my ex girlfriends remembering the old days! ecspecially when its clear she still loves you alex!"jade shouted at me angrily her eyes watery as her anger built. she stood and glared at me for what felt like forever before i finally answered.

"she doesnt love me jade, she never did."i told her quietly looking at the floor my own words hurting me.

"do you honestly believe that? i've seen the way she looks at you even in the couple short times we met i can see it in her eyes. your an idiot if you cant see it too. but its your choice alex... me or her."jade told me her voice soft, but it her words cut into me like knifes. i looked back up at her.

"your making me choose?"i ask her quietly.

"yes. its me or her. im going out now but choose carefully alex i wont be anyones second."jade said coldly before storming out slamming every door she went through.

she was going to make me choose between her and colt. i knew she wouldnt back out of her decision. so who will i choose?...jade? or...colt?.

i picked up my phone finding the name i wanted pressing call. it rang three times before the person answered.

"hello?"she spoke swiftly.

"we need to talk." i told her quickly my breathing becoming funny. i was going to make my decision...but was it the right one.

"im sorry...but i have to make a decision and we have been through so much together. she understands me and even though we have had fights and walked away from each other, i cant lose her. i love her."i spoke slowly as i tried to make myself believe the words coming out my own mouth. i made my decision and i knew it would hurt her and me...but this was for the best.

"wow...uh so you really do love her huh?"her voice was fillwith sadness as her shoulders dropped as she gave up...on me. "well im sorry too alex...im sorry for letting you ever make me feel this way, now you got what you wanted."her voice held so much anger and hate it scared me. i couldnt bear to look into her eyes i couldnt bear to see the pain i caused in them.

"im sorry...i never wanted things to happen like this."i whispered not even sure if she would hear me.

"give it a rest. dont act like you care about me when the only thing you care about is yourself...whatever, i'll see you around"she growled at me before standing up and storming off.

"im sorry!"i shouted after her "im so sorry..."i whispered to myself as the tears started to roll down my face an breathing became hard. i couldnt help thinking...'if this is the right choice...why does it hurt so much?'
