(Y/N) knew that whenever Wonwoo wanted to come up with new ideas for his story, weird things were bound to happen.

I mean, we're talking about Jeon Wonwoo.
The same guy with whom she once had a debate about bicycles and their role on teen romantic fiction.
The guy that just a few days ago, had written gay fanfiction just 'cause he didn't like the ending of the drama and wanted to give it an alternative one.

Perhaps luckily for Wonwoo, (Y/N) still had a huge crush on him, which didn't seem to go away. Instead, it only grew even more as they spent more time together.
And that was probably why she never refuse Wonwoo's crazy plans.

This time, thanks to Jun's suggestion to do at least one chapter involving a little more mystery or scary things, Wonwoo came up with the wonderful idea to ask a few of his friends to stay after classes are over so that they could all explore school at night. When it's closed and completely empty. And really dark...
To make things even more interesting, Jun not only agreed with the whole scheme but he also decided to recruit the help of his fellow editors, Jeonghan and Chan, plus Mingyu, so that they could turn the typical high school into a small haunted house.
Additionally, he called Jisoo too, knowing that the gentle writer would be able to control everybody in case things got out of hand.
Hansol also became a member of this team, after randomly meeting Chan and him constantly insisting on the American boy to join them.

Of course, this whole plan's sole purpose was so that Wonwoo could have ideas for his story!
It totally wasn't a bet between Wonwoo and Jun, in which the older Chinese boy promised that he would be able to scare not only Wonwoo but also Minghao.

And since Wonwoo and Minghao felt like they needed to involve more people in this "event", they convinced (Y/N), Soonyoung, Seokmin, Seungkwan, Seungcheol and Jihoon to join them in this "test of courage"/bet.

As the day grew darker, the group met up at the entrance of the school, where the "the devil's little helpers plus Jisoo and Hansol", as Minghao and Wonwoo referred to them, were waiting for them inside.
In (Y/N)'s and Soonyoung's opinion, everybody, especially Wonwoo, Jun, Minghao and Jeonghan, were taking the whole thing a bit too seriously.
The editing team and guests even had walkie-talkies and elaborate pranks set through the whole school!
Meanwhile, Wonwoo and Minghao were coming up with a strategy for their team to the point where it was starting to resemble a war council.
Firstly, they split into random pairs, after multiple and frustrating games of rock, paper, scissors, and then they started to assign parts of the school for each group to explore.

In the end, it was decided that Soonyoung and Seokmin would divide the classrooms and the clubs' rooms with Seungkwan and Minghao, while Wonwoo and Seungcheol would be in charge to explore not only the cafeteria but also some of the staff rooms and bathrooms. Meanwhile, the last pair, Jihoon and (Y/N), ended up with the library, the rest of the bathrooms, and the teacher's lounge.

One thing that nobody seemed to notice besides Soonyoung, was that Wonwoo's excitement had toned down a bit after everybody else agreed with the strategy, and although deep down he knew that it was due to something else, Soonyoung decided to blame it on the fact that Wonwoo wasn't assigned to the library against his wishes.
But we'll get to that later.

However, and as (Y/N) had predicted earlier on during her conversation with Mingyu and Wonwoo, things started to go South pretty quickly.

The first pair, Seokmin and Soonyoung, or "the idiotic cowards" as they were later on labelled, were unfortunate enough to be assigned to Jeonghan, who made his personal life goal for the day, to terrify them as much as possible.

One of the many interesting things about Yoon Jeonghan is the fact that he can be one of the most mischievously evil people to ever walk on this Earth, despite his physical appearance affirming otherwise. He might look like an angel, talk like an angel, walk like an angel and what not, but he is, in fact, the devil in disguise. At least according to some people.
