When you receive a message saying 'SOS' you would expect something incredibly disastrous and life or death situation kind of thing, right?
Well, when you receive such a message from Jeon Wonwoo, it's not really the same, since he has different priorities than most people usually have.
An 'SOS' for Wonwoo is when his fridge is empty and he's too lazy to go grocery shopping, or Mingyu broke one of his game controllers. But before (Y/N) received such message, she was at school feeling dreadfully bored. Soonyoung was out with Seokmin, Seungkwan and Hansol were on the basketball court, and nobody was exactly sure where Seungcheol was, but at least they knew he was alive and somewhere at school. Meanwhile, Mingyu was out of town with his family, and Wonwoo didn't even show up at all.
Of course, his absence was incredibly noted by the girl, who had spent the whole day hanging out with Jihoon, in the hopes of forgetting all her theories that Wonwoo might be in his house drowning in stress because of a deadline. She was probably going to have to check on him after school...most definitely...
But first, she was trying not to fall asleep in her Math class. Without Soonyoung there, she was having a really hard time doing so, but Jihoon had previously promised that he would get her ice cream if she paid attention to at least 85% of the lesson. The things she did for free food...
When the class finally ended, (Y/N) started to gather her things, taking her time since Jihoon had told her that he would meet her in her classroom. However, she wasn't expecting someone to try to talk to her.
"Hey (Y/N)!" the sweet voice of Park Sooyoung, or Joy as some people address her as, called for her.
"Hi?"
(Y/N) wasn't very sociable and she mostly prefers the company of her closest friends, but despite the fact that Joy wasn't exactly her friend, (Y/N) liked her a lot. She was very nice to her, even if they only talked a few times. Still, it was a surprise for (Y/N) whenever that happened.
"Is everything alright? I noticed that you seem kind of down...is it because your friend Soonyoung isn't here?"
"You can say that..." (Y/N) trailed off still clutching her notebook.
"You know you can hang out with me and my friends if you're feeling lonely! You're always welcomed! Or if you want to talk to someone who isn't a boy!" Joy joked. Most girls from (Y/N)'s class thought it was weird that the girl only hanged out with boys, which sometimes led to some misunderstandings and dirty looks, which (Y/N) had learned to ignore with time. She wouldn't trade their company for anything in the world, especially not because people thought it was odd!
"Thanks for the offer." (Y/N) smiled.
"You're busy right now?"
"Yeah, I'm supposed to hang out with Jihoon. And then I'll probably go to Wonwoo's house to check on him."
"Really? Are you dating Wonwoo?"
That particular comment shocked the girl so much that she accidentally drop all of her things on the floor with a loud thud.
It wasn't unusual to (Y/N) when people assumed that she was dating one her friends, but normally they meant Soonyoung or Seungkwan or even Seokmin at times. Never Wonwoo."Oh crap! Sorry!" (Y/N) shrieked as she quickly fell to the floor trying to gather her things.
"Don't worry about it! Let me help you!" Joy kindly offered and before (Y/N) could protest, the girl was already next to her picking up her books.
"(Y/N)?" looked over Joy's shoulder to see Jihoon standing by the door. His voice made the two girls look up.
"Jihoon! I'll be right there, just give me a second!"
