7- The game is on (part 1): the cowards, the devils and emotional talk

Start from the beginning

Needless to say that the duo never stood a chance against him and after various jump scares, shouting to the point that it alerted the other pairs, sneaky attacks and even being chased by a masked figure which turned out to be Jeonghan, Soonyoung and Seokmin were way too scared to explore any more classrooms.
In the end, they both decided to call it quits and quickly ran out of the building, to where Jisoo and Vernon were waiting for them.
Satisfied with what he had done, Jeonghan moved on to his next victims.

Meanwhile, Mingyu was put in charge of scaring the other pair exploring the classrooms, Minghao and Seungkwan.
Things started off great for the tall boy, as he managed to get a couple loud screamings from Seungkwan and even two or three slight surprise jumps from Minghao.
However, he did not expect the younger boy to try to chase him around while shouting at him to go away, and if it weren't for Jeonghan who managed to put things back on the right track by scaring the living lights out of Seungkwan, Mingyu would have probably given up and go find Jisoo and Hansol.
The two American boys didn't want to be part of the game and so they decided to set up a small control post where they took care of the deserters and just overall controlled the game and who was the possible winner.

And then there was Wonwoo and Seungcheol...

Along with being known for his lack of emotion, Wonwoo was also known for never really showing fear.
He barely even reacts to horror movies or games, instead, he mocks them and laughs!
Except when it comes to dogs. In that case, Wonwoo becomes a nervous mess and tries his best to stay away from them, but that's a story for another day.

Seungcheol, however, was a completely different case...
If Wonwoo laughed in the face of danger, Seungcheol screams at it!
Because despite his cool persona and though physical appearance, the prince of the school was a bit of a baby when it comes to these things. And unfortunately for him, Jun was very determined to scare them.

You could say Moon Junhui resembled Jeonghan in some aspects.
Jun was an incredibly good looking guy, with a heart of gold. Albeit a bit odd from time to time, he was still one of the nicest people that very few individuals could claim to meet in their lifetimes.
But in this case, 'nice Junhui' had been thrown out of the window, and in his place was 'evil Jun', who wanted nothing more than to see Jeon Wonwoo being scared out his witts. Even if it meant he had to traumatize a poor Choi Seungcheol in the process.

And so, Jun spared no time in attacking the pair the minute that they walked in on the bathrooms.
Much to his dismay, however, that the only reaction he got from Wonwoo, was when the tall boy started to sing over the creepy song coming from the school's speakers, and whenever there was a jumpscare, all he did was laugh at it.
Seungcheol, unlike Wonwoo, was screaming through the whole time and even fell down on his butt at some point.
Since his first approach wasn't as successful as he had hoped, Jun decided to withdraw for a while so he could plan his next attack. Plus, he kind of felt the need to give Seungcheol a bit of time to recover from the whole experience.

"How can you be so freaking calm right now?" Seungcheol exclaimed as the two made their way to the cafeteria. The older boy's voice, along with his breathing, was finally back to normal, after Wonwoo spent some trying to calm him down, despite not being able to control his own laughter.

"Because there's nothing to be scared off. It's just Jun! The same guy that laughs at pictures of animals and never lets go of his phone!"

"And if it weren't Jun?"

"I would still laugh it off! It's still a pretty funny attempt to scare us, don't you think?"

"...geez, I wonder how can (Y/N) like you as much as she does..." Seungcheol mumbled, only realizing his mistake when it was too late.
