It was still dark out when I awoke. I was wrapped up in the thick fuzzy blanket. Taehyung had his arms around me and his warm feet were tangled with mine.

I groggily rubbed my eyes as I sat up in the bed to check the time. I didn't take Taehyung's arms off of me because I didn't want to wake him and he made me warm. The bedside table had a alarm clock with neon green numbers reading 3:18. Well, we did sleep at 5 last night.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. I was surprised when my fingers ran passed the point when Taehyung's hair used to end. Again?

Taehyung shifted in this spot in bed. He opened his brown eyes slowly, they held a sleepy daze in them. It was him, purely him, not me. "You're you, again," He spoke in his deep voice, seeming deeper since he just woke up. He reached out his hand and pulled gently on my wrist. "Mm, it's getting cold."

I laid back down to keep the heat between us and the bed. "We're back. Tae, isn't this strange?" I questioned. He breathed in slowly.

"Yeah, it is. It's our second time changing back but why?" He whispered. There was no use in being quiet when the house already was, yet the atmosphere made it seem like we had to speak softly to each other. Maybe it was the stillness of the room or the darkness of it.

"I'm not sure. There must be something making us switch but what can it be?" I looked at the ceiling of his room. Taehyung shrugged.

"(N/N), it's three in the morning!" He whined moving closer to me, bringing his head in towards my neck. "I'm sleepy." His grip tightened around my waist before loosening and absentmindedly dragging his fingertips over my bare skin leaving a trail of goosebumps wherever he touched. My heart fluttered with each turn he'd make, like he was drawing a picture.

"Tae, I'm tired too but we should figure this out." I spoke semi-seriously as I smiled at his actions. He chuckled at my voice.

"I guess so. Any theories?" Taehyung questioned playfully.

"Well last time we switched back when you couldn't sleep since you had a nightmare and we slept here," I thought out loud. "Then we switched back at dance practice. There has to be a connection, right?"

We sat in silence as we thought. We switched when I helped him out. I thought back to what I could remember I felt that night.

Taehyung looked tired and his eyes were big, sacred. He held his arms, hugging himself. It reminded me of when I first started being his friend. He always had a hint of fear in his eyes. I never liked seeing that look in anyone's eyes, especially Taehyung's.

My heart hurt looking at him in that state even though I didn't realize it then. I guess that why I let him in, why I let him stay. I felt sympathy and compassion for Taehyung. I could understand why he felt like that after a nightmare and I wanted to help.

"Tae?" I asked quietly. He hummed in response. "What did you feel at the practice when we switched back?"

He was quiet, thinking, I suppose. "Well, I didn't feel good. I didn't know your dance as perfectly as you do. I couldn't move like you do. I also hated how many times we stopped then fixed something then started again. Do you know how frustrating that is? Of course, you do you dance," he groaned. "It was hard. You can say that I understood how hard you worked for the perfect dance."

Understood. He understood. Maybe that's what this is. "I think I know!" I sat up quickly. Taehyung let go of my waist to let me sit up. I felt like something was missing once he let go, colder. I wanted to put his arms back around me but I held myself back. "We switched when I understood what you felt when you had your nightmare. We switched back when you understood that dance isn't easy." I said excitedly.
