Hey guys, important note at the bottom.

How I get myself into these messes I shall never know.... Most likely. However, I think in this instance I could easily blame one Petter Pettigrew. "So, still think she can save your slimey little tail Pipsqueak?" Came an arrogant question out of a very optimistic mouth.

"Oh come on! Peter, just stand up to them!" I shouted, "You can- whoa!" I was dropped a little closer to the snake pit.

"Can you please be quiet? I'm trying to have a conversation."

"No, you're trying to be a bully. In reality you're just a-" I was silenced by another decent.

"What's the matter Gwendolyn? Don't like snakes?" Taunted Bellatrix.

"Not particularly. How about you find one in your bed in the middle of the night shoved up your-"

"Lynna!" Peter cried, cowering as I was dropped just out of reach of the snakes. I could count their scales if I wanted, but at present I found it highly inappropriate. Their hisses rang in my ears. I couldn't look away from the inky blackness of their scales. I didn't think they were poisonous, but I wasn't willing to find out upon a closer inspection.

"Where's your little hubby to be? Is he left you?" Bella cackled, making me cringe.

"OI! I'm Right here!" I don't think I could be more relieved if I just come back from the future from the old wrinkly Sirius to the present- oh wait.

I screamed as I was dropped within their reach, Malfoy's concentration now one the three Marauders. I felt a jerk around my midsection and suddenly I was high in the air- and then falling back down. "Oh I'm sick!" I groaned just as I was passing over Malfoy and Bellatrix I heaved.... It wasn't pretty.

"EW! NASTY!" I heard the marauders cry as I sailed passed them and over the bannister. If not for the rope around my middle I would have fallen quite a ways. As it was, the sudden jerk had me swinging and hanging upside down, making me gag and heave once more as the breath was knocked out of me.

"Well," I gasped, "At least I'm wearing pants." I felt a sudden pressure and looked to my left. "Why, hello professor.

"Miss Marked. Why are you upside down?"

"Oh you know, just hanging around, gaining a new perspective. Say, did you change robes? They look smashing-whoa!" And I was hoisted back up.

"Lynnie? Are you ok?" I pushed Sirius off me and hopped to the pit of snakes still in the middle of the floor, puking once more. Sirius was kind enough to hod my hair back for me.

"What's wrong with your feet?" James asked.

"Leg- Locker." I gasped only to gag again, dry heaving was now in effect. I swayed, only for Sirius to gather me into his arms and start walking. "Who's idea was the rope?"

"Sorry."

"Don't be," I groaned, looking at Remus. "Bloody brilliant." And I told them about my meeting with Professor Lakewood.

I must have dozed off because I was suddenly stretching in the common room. "Oi! Get your hand out of my face!" I felt my hand get shoved away, only to fling it back. "Ow! My eye!" I curled into a ball and heaved myself over the arm of the chair into a standing position in one fluid motion.

"Siri- footer!" I leaned forward into his arms. He caught me and swung me around. "That's the last time I take one of Peter's short cuts!" I glared back at him as he continued suriously rubbing his eye.

The month of October rushed right on by. When the full moon came, I was on edge, it was exactly one week before my wedding. "Relax," Lily tried to soothe. "Gwen, everything's working out perfectly."
