Carl's P.O.V.
I walked over to Dad and Michonne who were still talking about what to do with Negan.
"Where's (Y/N)?"
"Oh, she/he is went off to the bathroom," replied Michonne.
"That's weird. So did Enid." As realization came to hit me, a crash came from the bathroom. All three of us sprinted back there. Dad twisted the doorknob. It was locked. He then brought up his knife and hit the doorknob. It broke and we opened the door. Enid was laying on the ground with a pair of scissors sticking out of her head. I fell on my knees beside her. Rage and grief suddenly consumed me.
Back to your P.O.V.
"(Y/N)? (Y/N) are you ok?" I slowly awoke to an anxious Michonne. She sighed slowly. "You were bleeding out. We wrapped up your arm, so try not move it much or else it might open up again." I was in my bed and my arm was indeed wrapped up. Images of what happened flew around in my sleep. I threw my scissors. I suddenly gasped and looked at Michonne fearfully.
"Where did my scissors land. It was a blind throw and I was hoping to just take out her arm or legs or something. I was possible aiming for the shoulder. I can't remember." She noticed how frantic I was.
"Head. They landed in her head."
"A graze, right? Just a graze." Her look said it all. "I killed her." She nodded sadly. "Carl must be so mad at me." My head suddenly became cloudy and my vision blurred. "I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it," I repeated over and over. My only friend is going to hate me. Michonne's voice brought me back to reality.
"Honey, he won't be mad. He just will need to know what happened. It's that simple." I swallowed and nodded. I proceeded to tell her exactly what happened without any details left out.
"She wanted to kill me. I could tell. The look in her eyes." I shuddered.
"You need some rest. Try and go to sleep. I'm going to go see how he's doing." My eyes slowly closed and sleep overcame me.
Carl's P.O.V.
I was so mad. Actually not mad, but furious. (Y/N) killed her. She/he killed her! I was staring at all wall while sitting on a couch. Memories of Enid and I chasing each other in the woods haunted my brain. Michonne came into the room.
"Please don't blame (Y/N). She/he-"
"I don't wanna hear it. Whatever she told you is most likely a lie. She's/he's related to Negan after all. H*ll she/he probably even did this because he told her/him to kill someone."
"Now you know that's not-"
"Just leave me alone!" I cut her off again. She nodded and walked out of the room. I waited until her and Rick walked into another room to figure out what to do. That's when I went to (Y/N)'s room.
Back to your P.O.V.
I woke up to Carl coming into my room. I was super shocked to see him. His eyes were red and he looked disheveled.
"What are you doing?" I asked. Surely he had to know that I was supposed to be resting.
"Do you know what you did?" He asked. Something seemed very, very off about him.
"Yes and I didn't mean to. Michonne told you what happened, right?"
"She was going to, but I didn't want to hear it."
"Why?"
"Because you are lying." I looked into his eye, but found nothing but steel anger, and grief.
"Why do you think that?"
"Because you're related to him. That doesn't mean that you won't act like him." My jaw dropped.
"Carl, you know that I hate him very, very much. I would never lie to you either."
"How do I know that you aren't lying right now!?" He yelled. "Negan could've put you up to this!" I jumped at the unexpected words. How does he think this? After all we've been through. Rick suddenly came into the room. He probably heard all of the yelling.
"Carl, come on. Leave her alone." Rick and Michonne at least believe me, right? Carl reluctantly followed Rick out of the room. What if they all hate me because of who I am related to? It's not my fault. It's not my fault, I promise. Sleep overcame me once again.
THATS THE END OF THIS CHAPTER, MAH FRIENDS!!
