Why did that woman call me? Who is this Park Min-Jung? I've definitely heard her name. Will I get to meet GOT7 soon? What about the dance lessons? I hope it's actual dancing, not like how it was at school. OHMYGAWD BTS ARE COMING BACK!
The first vocal lesson was very boring. The other people who were chatting to Min-Jung were Lee April, Cha Nimyoon, Noh Rim-Song and Yoon Hanuel. April was the edgy one, the hyper one, the one who never had a filter to her mouth. Nimyoon's a sweet guy, he seems like the guy who would always be there when you need someone. Rim-Song; perfect jawline, perfect teeth, perfect eyes, deep colour of siena, with a mischievous glint. They glow with humor and playfulness that give you shivers and wrap you in a warm embrace at the same time. The type of guy any girl would sell a liver to be with.
Hmm, Hanuel, now he was hard to judge. Which is surprising, me being the queen of analyzing and judging people to the fullest. I didn't see him when I walked in. He didn't utter a word. He sat right at the back of the bijou room and was on his phone, either reading a fascinating book or playing a game. I wanted to talk to him but then Miss Bitch-Face interrupted me. Next time then.
I shook out of my daydream, and when I looked around the classroom, I realised that everyone was looking at me, including the teacher. Her right eye was twitching, I assumed this was a sign that she was angry.
"Could you repeat what I just said, or would you like to quit being a rookie?" she hissed, glaring at me. Her eyes were freezing my bones, like I was in Antarctica in shorts and a tank top.
"Sorry, Miss," I said slowly, biting my lip. Though not leaving our eye contact. I didn't want to be seen as the week girl. I guess I found the cliché 'frightening' teacher. Huh?
Her daunting glint changed slightly. Was it astonishment or anger? I couldn't tell. No one noticed.
"As I was saying," she continued, ignoring my apology, "Breath in deeply. Make the fullest sound you can. Don't be scared. You all are here for a reason. Would anyone like to try? How about you Eun-Ae? As you had something else in mind, why not give it a go and show how talented you are,"
She smiled at me sarcastically, and motioned me to come to the front. I started panicking. Everyone was looking at me once again. I nodded disinterestedly, keeping a straight face. No one knew how much I hated being the center of attention. 'Ugh, Eun get it over and done with,' I mentally rolled my eyes.
Pffts haha, her face was so amusing to watch throughout the whole performance. Changing from poker faced to speechless, her jaw basically dropping to the floor. She quickly realised and looked around to see if anyone was looking which unfortunately for her, I was. Making my voice crack, I was trying not to laugh. Her smirk coming back on her face, seeing me flustering. If only she knew.
I finished on a perfect high note, which I didn't even know I could produce. All of them clapped after my little performance, except Miss Bitch-Face. I bowed slightly and went back to my seat near the window, feeling a little proud of myself.
She strutted to her desk, looked at her laptop and said "Find a partner and chose a song you both want to sing"
Wow, did she just ignore my perfect performance.
"This is your first performance, I expect a lot from you guys," she looked pointedly at me, as if accusing me of a crime.
"Eun-Ae, want to be partners with me?" I looked to my right and saw April looking at me with an adorable smile. How could I say no?
