'A middle aged couple have been killed in their house in the district Gangnam. Investigators are currently looking into the case. So far, no traces of the killer have been found...'
That's all Eun-Ae had to hear for her heart to drop and her mind to race at an unbelievable speed. What were those texts about? Why the hell is she apologising? Eun-Ae quickly looked for her phone and called 'Eomma'. No answer, straight to voicemail. She tried another 5 times, but still no one picked up. She was getting frustrated now.
Sitting on the edge of her bed in her dorm, her hands in her hair, whilst her feet constantly tapping the floor impatiently, she waited for a call-back. She was still in her dance clothes, all sweaty. Her stomach suddenly made an uncomfortable turn. She didn't know what to do. She called again.
It had been 2 hours now since she last called, still no one picked up. Her position exactly the same except it had turned dark outside and she hadn't turned the lights on. She knew she was supposed to hate her mother but being her daughter she still had some love left no matter what she did.
She didn't have anyone to talk to. Again. Lisa was mad at her plus she hadn't made any close friends yet. She was alone. Again. She didn't have a shoulder to cry on. Again. Her heart ached. Again.
After what seemed like an eternity, Eun-Ae finally got ahold of herself and went to have a shower. What's the point of crying over something for hours if you couldn't do anything about it? It was 1 in the morning now and she had classes at 7. There was no choice but to sleep.
-----Time Skip-----
Eun-Ae woke up to the sound of her alarm ringing continuously. She had chosen the most annoying ringtone so she would wake up quicker. At first, she woke up thinking it was a normal day. But then everything that happened the previous day washed over her. Her heart broke again - if that was even possible anymore, as it had done so repeatedly the past 23 hours. She had only got one hour of sleep, even after trying to.
She rested her hand on her head, sighing deeply. She had promised herself that she wouldn't shed any tears {LOL Love Yourself: Tear hahaha} anymore.
23 missed calls from April
Ugh, April had found out. No calls from Lisa though. Lisa. That name made her want to cry. She forced herself out of bed, yawning, and got dressed. Wait... how did April find out anyway?
Ding Dong

Eun-Ae groaned as she trudged towards the door. When she tried to unlock the door, she missed the the key hole, as her eyes were half open. She finally managed to open the door. April was standing there. April! Eun-Ae rubbed her eyes, because she thought she was hallucinating.
Well, she honestly did not expect April to be here. All dressed and make-up done, whilst she looked as if she had been chased by a wolf into a dodgy house and then spotted by a ghost. April was closest to Eun-Ae, they would tell each other anything and everything.
After like a minute's worth of hesitation Eun-Ae finally spoke, breaking the awkward atmosphere "Urm. Well, do you want to come in?"
Eun-Ae knew exactly why April was here, especially with the stern, but woeful, look she was giving her. Eun-Ae stepped aside, kicking some of her strewn shoes near the doorway, allowing April to get in.
"So. I was watching the news this morning, and I heard someone's parents died."
"Urm, yeah. I, uh, saw that too last night," Eun-Ae answered contemplating if she wanted to reveal such a sensitive topic.
"You haven't been yourself for the past few weeks and you haven't been answering my calls. Their last names were also Min. I think I have worked stuff out by now Eun-Ae. I'm here for you Eun-Ae. I know you've been through some hardships in the past and now you're just ignoring your feelings," she took a little pause so Eun-Ae could take in what she was saying.
"Don't stuff them deep inside when you know it's hurting you. Eun-Ae you can trust me"
Eun-Ae was now biting the inside of her cheek still deep in thought. True, she could trust April, she had shown nothing but care and warmth towards her, like a true friend.
She didn't notice when a tear escaped her eye, it was just one tear, no more. April did notice though. Suddenly she broke down into tears. Her eyes shifted to the side. A choked sound leaving her lips. She could feel the tears coming, flowing endlessly.
Her eyes - which for the first twenty years of her life were always dry - had a glassy layer of tears. When she blinked, those tears rolled down her face, and dripped off her chin. She was trying her hardest to keep her mouth closed, in attempt to hide any sound that wanted to escape it. April was crying loudly now, whilst Eun-Ae just couldn't stop her emotions falling out.
"Sad." What a lame word to describe this feeling. There is no word other than this for it. They were there for about an hour, a mixture of sobbing, hugging and useless reassuring. When they eventually composed ourselves, they sat down on Eun-Ae's couch, just staring at each other.
"I promise I won't tell anyone," she whispered, as if someone was stood on the other side of the walls, listening. Sure, she was Eun-Ae's friend, but she didn't trust her, not enough. Since the incident with her mum, Eun-Ae's always had trust issues. She hates that about herself.
"Do you want to talk about it?" she asked. Eun didn't answer her because she didn't want to cry again.
"Do you want some time to yourself then?" she asked. She didn't answer again. The world just looked like smudges of black, dark blue and dull silver. She wanted to answer her, really she did, but every time Eun-Ae tried to, something grabbed her heart and smashed it to pieces. It was like breaking a bone over and over again, the pain was unreal.
