YOU

Mason took pictures of the bones as we passed by. We halted once more as we saw green gas surrounding more bones ahead of us. Everyone's eyes were wide in fear and surprise.

"Yeah you smell that? That's death." Hank stated, as if he really wanted to convince Packard to retreat, which he does.

"What the hell is this place?" Someone asked.

"This is what's left of Kong's parents." Hank replied.

"I've taken enough photos of mass graves to recognize one." Mason said, her voice low as if she doesn't want anyone to hear her. "The crash site's just on the other side of this valley. We'll cross through and make it to the highest point west." Packard informed.

"Ah-ah. This place is a real no-no sir." Hank told Packard, who acted as if he never heard a word.

"We need to be going to the north side right now." Landsat said, clearly afraid. "And you're welcome to do that my man. By yourself." Packard replies.

"We're not leaving Jack out there. Now who's with me?" Packard added. No one replied because no was really sure if they wanted this. "We can make it." Conrad assured.

"You said it right we can make it." Packard. "Now stay sharp. Keep an eye out." He added as we continued entering the dangerous place.

"I've only been here for 28 years. What do I know?" Hank mumbled ever so sarcastically.

As we passed by, human skulls were also in the floor. The green gas mixing with fog was getting thicker. Randa was taking pictures while Mason, on the other hand, looked around.

Conrad traced the what seemed to be a footstep of a huge foot. It must be Kong's parents when they were still alive or maybe they were Kong's. Nobody knows.

"Cole, we don't have time for that man. Put that out." Mills scloded Cole as he lit the cigarette. Cole threw the cigarette and as it hit the ground. An small explosion irrupted near them.

All the attention turned to them making Randa yell, "Watch those fumes!"

"Idiots" He muttered as he continued taking pictures as he walked away.

"Let's go. We gotta move." Packard yelled. Jeez. Why does this guy always yell? What's his problem?

We suddenly heard a croak. No. Not like a frog. It sounded too... scary. Everyone raised there guns in alert. "Run!" Hank yelled, running to hide along with the others.

My dad was about to pull me to him but James was faster and nearer to me so he took me first, sliding behind a huge bone and tried to catch our breaths.

Beside me was Mason and James. On the other bone parallel to us was Slivko and Hank.

Another screech was heard but this time it was way nearer than before. Right now, even if I can't see my dad's face, I know that he's on the verge of tearing up.

James had one of his hands to hold my hand while the other was holding his gun tightly.

The skull crawler was getting nearer and nearer until it was behind us. Sniffing then letting out another screech. Mason was breathing deeply but everyone was still quiet.
