"I'll see you later baby."

"Alright. Tell mama Jen I said hello."

"I will. Bye ladies."

"Bye Keith."

Once he was out the door the girls shot their eyes over towards Ashly.

"What?"

"You know what chick. Spill the tea."

"There isn't any tea to spill."

"Bulllshit. A couple days ago you wouldn't even let that boy come in the house and now all of sudden not only was he in the house but also in the same bed as you all cuddled up together."

"Last time I checked I don't have to explain anything to y'all. That is my business and my business only."

"C'mon sis. It's not like we don't know what you did."

"So why you asking if you so call already know?"

"Because we want some confirmation damnit."

Ashly laughed, got up from the couch, walked into the kitchen and began singing Ginuwine's None of Your Friends Business.

"Long as we protect ourselves and do it right." She continued to sing and dance around.

"I hope y'all lil nasties did protect y'all selves."

"Huh?"

"I said I hope y'all did use protection."

"Oh yeah, yeah. We always do."

She told them but in her mind she was really trying to figure out if they did or didn't.

"My boy KP up in the building!"

Dominique yelled out as soon Keith came into the bar. He laughed, said wassup and slapped hands with everybody.

"What you been up to boy? You know we ain't seen you in a minute."

"Ah nothing much man, just left my mom's spot not too long ago and uh I got my girl back. I really haven't been up to nothing for real for real."

He responded nonchalantly.

"Did he just say he got back with his girl?"

"And he said all nonchalant like it's no big deal."

"When he know it's a big deal."

After taking a sip of his beer Keith laughed at his friends' expressions and the whole conversation.

"Why y'all making it a big deal bruh? Y'all already knew I was going to get Ashly back."

"Ashly?!"

"Yes Ashly. As in my baby, my best friend, my baby girl etc."

"So when this happened?"

"Yesterday."

"How did you get her back?"

"I let her know what was up. I did wrong, she did wrong let's put in the past and get back together. It's crystal clear that we love and miss each other so let's stop playing and work on us."

Luke smiled from ear to ear and did their handshake.

"That's my boy! That's my boy! On his grown man business."

"So did you put the ring to use yet?"

All of the guys looked from Keith then over to Algee as they all held confusion on their faces.

"What is he talking about? What ring?"

"A promise ring. I got Ash another promise ring."

He added emphasis on the words another & promise while giving Algee a look.

He continued to chill with his boys then afterwards he went back over to Ashly's house. When he got there he didn't see the girls' cars over so he figured they must've left.

He walked into the house and heard music coming from her bedroom. He jogged up the stairs and saw her in her mirror doing her makeup and singing along to Changes by H.E.R.

He slowly walked up behind her, slid his hands around her waist, gave her neck a kiss and began singing along.

"We got options

I finally realized that

She looked at him through the mirror then up at him and smiled then they kissed each other. She continued to sing along to the song and he continued to sway with her.

"You know we have to have our conversation."

"I know. Tomorrow baby. We're having such a good moment right now and I don't want to ruin it."

"Okay."

They kissed again and ended their day while watching pranks of/by their favorite YouTubers and ate chicken sandwiches and fries.

I know this chapter is short but I just wanted to go ahead and get this out of the way so I could give y'all something.

I don't when the next update is coming or if it'll be short or long but just know whenever I have something to come to mind I'll give y'all an update.
