Hugging my arms close to my chest, I walk to the JYPE building alone in the cold wind. Suwei and Riley stopped by the dorms first to get something, hence why I left for practice before them.

Once reaching the building, I head to the warm practice room. We still have not decided what song we should cover, so I pulled out my laptop and mindlessly stared at the options before me.

I sigh thinking about how we would have to rearrange the dances to look complete with only three people. It's only the first mission, and I'm already this stressed. I have to learn how to control my anxiousness in order to make it through this show.

"Sorry, I didn't know anyone was here," a deep voice interrupts my thoughts.

Turning to face the voice, I notice Felix awkwardly standing beside the door to the room where I am.

I look away from his gaze quickly, "No worries. Do you need the room?"

He enters the room more and shuts the door behind him, "No, I just left my hoodie here yesterday."

"Oh."

After some awkward silence while Felix shuffles to the opposite side of the room to retrieve his hoodie, the boy decides to take a seat beside me.

"What are you up to?"

Still unable to make eye contact, I respond, "I'm trying to figure out which of these songs would be best to cover for our first mission."

He lightly chuckles, "You don't have to be afraid to talk to me, Nyla. I promise I'm not that scary."

"Sorry, I'm just bad at socializing," I explain, finally meeting his eyes for a fleeting few seconds.

"Don't worry about it. Anyway, maybe I could help?"

Felix and I end up discussing how Suwei, Riley, and I could alter some parts of the dances to make it fit the three of us. He also aids in figuring out how to distribute the parts.

Soon, the door opens yet again, and Suwei and Riley enter the room, plopping down on the couch near the desk Felix and I are at.

"Hey, Felix. I didn't expect to see you here," Riley greets the boy after saying hello to me.

He shrugs, "I left my hoodie here and ran into Nyla. I thought I could help her out before I have to practice with the boys."

"Right, your live broadcast is coming up soon. You excited?" Suwei asks him, taking a sip of the drink she must have gotten on her way to practice.

Felix fiddles with his fingers, "More like terrified. This decides the fate of our group."

"PDnim picked your group in episode one because he thought you guys felt like a team when you were all together. I think he'll see that again at the live broadcast," Riley attempted to reassure him.

"I sure hope so," he replies, "But in the meantime, you guys have to worry about the fate of your group too. Nyla and I have been working on distributing parts and rearranging the dances to suit three people for the songs you guys are trying to choose from."

Felix and I proceed to explain our ideas to Suwei and Riley, then we await their opinions on which song we should choose.

After considering all the details, we end up deciding what song would be best.

I let out a sigh of relief, "I'll start rearranging the song a bit."

"Perfect," Suwei says, "I'll finalize the dance positions."

"And I will make sure the line distributions suit each of our voices," Riley adds.

Suwei and Riley exit the room to go do their part in perfecting our performance before we can all start practicing together, leaving Felix and I alone.

"Thank you for all your help, Felix."

"Hey, you're actually making eye contact with me now!" he smiles, "And no problem, Nyla. I have to go practice now, but good luck on your mission. You three will do great, so don't stress, alright?"

I laugh, "Alright. Same goes for you: You're going to debut with all your members."

We bid each other goodbye, and I direct my attention to the editing program on my laptop. We can show PDnim a good side of us for this mission, I know it.
