Chapter Twenty Six

"Meg! Seats! Like, right now" Perrie yelled, ushering me to follow them.

"I'm out. Good luck." I say, kissing him on the cheek. He looks dumbfounded but that's all he's gonna get for now. I follow Perrie to the stands and we took a seat closest to the railings. We got a few nasty looks from the QIU side because we're from TUA. Milly told me not to mind them and made a silly excuse that they're just jealous. I roll my eyes at her and a few minutes later, the game began.

As much as I hate to admit it, Louis' team is going down fast. TUA has gotten good. Either that or they paid off the referee. I'm not surprised if they do, little cheaters. TUA has scored 5 in the past 10 minutes. Louis' getting frustrated from time to time. He's so close to pulling all of his hair out.

Milly and Perrie are already getting worried. They're already standing up on their seats in the 2nd half, looking even more stressed out than the players. I looked around and saw the TUA's side being energetic and cheering for our school. Of course, Carrie's there with Vlad and Josh. I didn't make an effort into making them notice me because I can't stand Carrie's face right now. The last thing I want is to come face to face with her.

Milly shouted, making me jump. I leaned over the railings and follow where this game is going. Loud whoops and yells erupted from our side when QIU finally made a goal! I looked at the field again and saw Louis high fiving his teammate as they pass each other. Milly grabbed my shoulder and shook me as she screamed and jumped infront of me.

"You're fucking crazy!" I shout at her making her laugh. The game consisted a lot of Milly screaming in my face but I'm getting used to it as it's been happening for the past 10 minutes.

The game gets more intense every minute. Niall and a player from TUA were already in each other's faces. Liam had to break them apart before they get in trouble. They had an interval just for that. And when Milly said the tension between Louis and Blake, TUA's captain, she was definitely not joking. They yell in each other's faces when a TUA player trips Liam just as he was about to make a goal. Being the good guy he is, he insisted it wasn't a big deal but Louis was still in on it. He's going to get himself in trouble! I was so close to running in that field myself and pull him away from Blake. Now the competition is as intense as ever. Any second now, I expect either boys to pull out a Swiss knife and stab each other in the back. If looks could kill, they're both dead by now.

Blake won't leave Louis alone and neither does that stubborn boy. The last half came the scores were a tie. They only have 5 minutes left on the clock and it's going to be the longest and most precious 5 minutes of their lives. TUA already has one injured cause its a rough game this afternoon!

Milly, Perrie and I were on the edge of our seats as the time started counting down again. This is a slot in the championships, both of them wants and needs it. Louis mentioned once that he will not go down in history of QIU to be the captain who lost the championship slot to the university next door. Everyone can clearly see the determination on that boys face and it's starting to worry me. Too much determination can cause him to hurt himself. Determination causes you to push through your limits to get what you want and to the extent that you don't care about your health anymore.

"This game's turning into war." Perrie said in total fear. We didnt realize how much rivalry our school and theirs had until now. Not generally, just in football.

"God, Niall and Louis are killing themselves out there." Milly says, not taking her eyes off either of the boys. She has a point. Since first half, Niall was only subbed once by Harry and Louis hasn't taken a break besides half time and time outs. I swear they're targeting those two especially!

"They're going to hurt themselves if they don't stop." I say. I feel like I'm so close to falling off this railing anytime soon.

One player overtakes Niall without a warning. They both fell to the ground and the whole stadium roared in confusion. No one knows what's happening down there but them. When the referee called them out, I knew something was horribly wrong.
