(y/n)
When I awoke, my body felt really sore.
I scanned the area to see that I was in a prison of some sorts, with some kind of chains on my wrist. I tried to heal the pain for sleeping on the hard ground, but nothing worked.
... Seems like these chains repel my magical abilities...
As I was scanned the room for any way of escape, I saw something else in this prison cell.
Sans.
I hurried up to him, to see him unconscious.
Although it was hard with the chains, I was able to shake Sans awake.
When he saw what situation we were in, he frowned.
"(y/n), I'm so sorry. I failed you. I allowed us to be captured. It's all my fault." Sans apologized.
"Sans, you don't need to apologize. If it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I didn't support you enough. If only I was stronger..." I reassured him.
We were both silent for a moment, until some guard came to us.
He opened the cell, and grabbed both of us by our chains. He then forced us to move to another room.
We could've fought back, but the chains were heavy. In addition, neither Sans or I am physical attackers. It never would've worked out.
When we arrived in the other room, we were seated in uncomfortable chairs.
"Tell me... How'd you escape the mountain? The barrier should've kept you disgusting monsters down there forever!" Another human questioned.
Neither of us responded.
The man seemed to be getting angry.
"Speak!" He demanded before slapping me on the face.
Tears sprung to my eyes, and I had to do my best to not show pain.
Sans then spoke.
"It's all my fault. I tricked her."
What does he...?
"I tricked this human into using her soul to free my own soul. And what did I do in return? I turned her into a goat so she wouldn't be accepted back into her hometown." Sans lied.
Wait... Why is he...?!
"I see. Free the girl." The man instructed.
The guard then released me from my chains.
"We will see what we can do to reverse the magic. For now, take her to Isabella's house. She loves taking in children. I'll see what we should do about this monster."
The guard then started to lead me away. I looked back once more at Sans, and he only had a face of 'go along with it'.
... I've lost my family... I don't want to lose you too...
... Don't worry Sans...
... I will come back for you...
When I arrived at Isabella's, she took me in, and gave me a room to stay in. She then told me that she was sorry for what the 'evil skeleton' did to me, and was going to make me some dinner.
The second she left, I climbed out of the nearby window, and rushed up the mountain towards the entrance of the monster realm.
Despite having a few slip-ups, nothing happened that I couldn't heal up on.
Once I was at the entrance, I used a spell to build up my endurance and defense, before jumping down the hole.
Don't worry Sans, I'll soon be back for you.
Hello everyone! Guess what? I feel like spoiling you today! Can you guess what that means? That's right; I'm going to give you the last few chapters of this story today! Now, don't worry; I plan to write a sequel, so these last few chapters aren't the end of the story. If you're curious why I'm spoiling you, let me explain. I'm moving next week (as you may already be aware), and I don't want to leave you at a cliffhanger. I know how terrible those are, so I try to avoid making you wait too long for the next chapter, because once the computer is packed, I won't be able to update for a while. Plus... I just want to post the last few chapters just because. No real reason needed. Well, I hope you'll enjoy the next few chapters. Next chapter won't have a note at the bottom, but the last chapter will with all my thanks for you readers. Well, that's enough out of me. Later! =^-^=
