Fragile Hearts

• Avoiding him •

It was a happy day for Chanyeol, he gripped on his backpack as he made his way to school.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun who's inside the car were watching the giant until he was finally gone. Yixing seemed to notice his cousin.

"What are you doing?" the elder asked.

"Nothing.. I'm going now bye hyung." Yixing only nodded his head and Baekhyun opened the door and went outside carefully crossing on the street.

He walked inside the campus, looking if Chanyeol was around but luckily, he found none. Baekhyun gave a sigh of relief and just when he was about to walked again an arm was placed around his shoulder, his eyes widened slowly turning his head to see.. Chanyeol.

"W-What are y-you d-doing?" Baekhyun said stuttering, feeling his cheeks burning as his heart races.

Chanyeol chuckled pulling Baekhyun more closer to him, "Let's go together?"

Baekhyun admits that it was making his heart beats fast, he was feeling nervous at the same time. He moved and pushed away the taller, he gulped.

"I have to go"

"Wait!" Chanyeol called him but Baekhyun was rushing to walk away leaving Chanyeol confused.

What's wrong with him?

The class started, as always there were some students who's listening, some were just secretly sleeping but there's one student who couldn't focus. Baekhyun.

He bit his lip as he wrote down some notes feeling conscious because Chanyeol was staring at him. He can clearly see it through his side.

Chanyeol on the other hand, kept staring at the small boy beside him thinking why he suddenly left him. Did he do something wrong? doesn't he like someone placing an arm around his shoulder? Chanyeol wonders why Baekhyun haven't talked to him since earlier.

"That's for today, you may have your break time."

Baekhyun placed down his pen automatically being pulled by his tall seatmate, "Yah.."

Chanyeol gave a serious look at the latter, "Let's talk."

They were outside, at the garden place. Chanyeol stared at Baekhyun who's feeling conscious and nervous at the same. He was nervous because it was the first time he saw Chanyeol acted serious in front of him. Boy, he just wants to go home.

"Baek, what's wrong?" Chanyeol asked, his hands were inside his pockets.

"Nothing.. I'm just busy that's all."

"You've been avoiding me." Chanyeol said, Baekhyun looked down. "Why?"

Baekhyun asked himself, Why am I avoiding him? he doesn't know the answer to his question, to Chanyeol's question.

"I'm sorry." Chanyeol was left alone once again.
