Unexpected

JW Harts pov

Tonigh we are live from Oklahoma this was the return of JB Mauney he was one of the greatest bull riders but he has fallen on some hard times and has been injured here lately but tonight he will be here performing for the first time in a while we are happy to see him back and back to being healthy again. 

JB's pov

I was nervous for tonights event i just wanted to make my comeback a good one and show that i mean business for the rest of the season. I walked into the locker room to see Maci and Brennon talking she must've been catching up with him since she hasn't seen him in 3 months. I saw Cooper eyeing her i knew Maci didn't want to see Cooper so i was going to protect her from him i walked over and asked Maci if she was ready to take Bella and go sit down she shook her head yes. They started to walk away and i saw Cooper start to go her direction. I yelled hey Maci come back which she turned around and did i said i need hugs from my girls before i go out there she blushed and gave me a hug and whispered break a leg in my ear. I bent down to give Bella a hug and a kiss on her cheek. i smiled as Maci and Bella walked away to go sit with her parents. 

Maci's pov

JB just called me his girl but what does that mean are we a thing or is he wanting us to be something i mean we had a connection no lying over that but i was just gonna let it work its course i got to see my brother and friends Jess and Derek ride but it was finally time for JB to ride I out Bella on my shoulders so she could see her dad ride the chute doors busted open and JB came flying out he was fighting direction change after direction change and he was doing a damn good job he made it to 8 and everyone cheered the whole place lit up i was so proud of him he was going into the championship sunday in first place the perfect spot to be but Cooper was trailing right behind him in second i was hoping JB would pull off this weekend win. I walked over to the locker room and waited for my brother and JB to walk out. Cooper walked out and walked over to me i told him good job he thanked me and said he was happy to see me even if it wasnt with him. I smiled and said i wish things were different but this is how things go he went in for a hug i didn't dodge it i just went along with it what was the point of fighting with him just as i was pulling away from the hug JB was walking out of the locker room with Cody Nance he gave me a wtf look i just shrugged my shoulders. I could tell he was kinda hurt to see me hugging Cooper but it didnt mean anything i had no feeling toward Cooper whats so ever but who knows what he thought about it. I said good job to Brennon and walked out JB grabbed my hand i looked down at our hands together i need to figure out what we are asap. We walked out to his trailer he showered and went to bed i gave Bella a bath and then i showered i walked out and JB yells Maci come lay with me i would never turn that down so i walked to the back of the trailer where he was and laid down next to him he engulfed me into a cuddle session i laid my head on his chest and said that thing you saw with me and Cooper was nothing he was just apologizing to me and went in for a hug i didn't know what to do so i went along with it. 

JB's pov

I just don't want to see you with him i said to Maci. I didn't want her with anyone but at the same time i wasn't ready to be with her yet, it was weird but it made sense in my mind.
