The car was silent except for Hank's snoring whilst he slept. I didn't really know what to say to Connor, as there wasn't really much to talk about. All this time he really did want to be human, even if that is just a small part of him. It shocked me, but I guess finding out I'm really android took more of an effect on Connor, I guess.

"Rose street, 1654. That's where Paige has been hiding." I sighed, expecting for Connor to reply. In which, he did not. "I'm hoping it's not trampy in there like her flat was."

"Do you have some sort of fucking ocd, ally?" Hank was awake, and staring at me.

"No. I just... prefer clean spaces than dirty ones. I mean, don't we all?" I looked at Connor for support, but he just stared out the window emotionless.

"I guess, but you just take it to another level, I swear." He shook his head as the car turned to Rose Street, which was actually extremely neat. There was roses and vines growing along the walls and the fields, and the houses looked tidy. Thank god.

The car stopped outside house 1654, which looked the exact same as all the other houses. "Right. Her niece should be here too." We went upto the door and knocked on it loudly.

The door was flung open, to reveal a girl around my age with ginger hair and a soft face. "Um, hey, what can I help you with?"

I pulled out my ID card, and asked "Is Paige Biddle here?"

"Yes... that's me. Why?" She then peered closer at the ID card, and smiled. "Oh, you must of came here to question the case! Course, course. Just go sit on the couch and I'll make the tea."

I stepped inside the corridor, and did a quiet gasp when noticing the children toys scattered along the floor. "My family has quite some children, and I've had to stay here with my children myself, and of course my nieces and nephews. But I'll get onto that in a second." Paige said as she entered the kitchen.

The furniture and walls was bright and colourful, judging by the fact the sofas were green and the chairs were yellow. Just as we sat down, three small children ran upto us and stared at Connor for a long time.

"We have an android too! Her name is Lea!" One of them shouted as she beamed at Connor, who tried to stay focused.

"Look at my toy!" Another one picked up a small car and shoved it in Hank's face, who too tried to stay calm. I'm just hoping they don't start on me.

A younger one stared at me for a few seconds, before tipping orange juice on my jeans.

"Oh god..." I whispered, digging my nails into my palms so I don't knock the poor kid out.

"I am so sorry!" Paige walked in with some tissue, dabbing my jeans before sitting on the couch opposite. "Bobby, Sophie, Rhianna! Off!" Just as she yelled at them, they ran out of the room.

"Okay, can you please start from the beginning of the whole scenario?" Connor asked, finally speaking.

Paige placed the cups of tea on the coffee table before starting, "Scarlett, my sister was at work and her children was at school around the time, but Sophie was ill so I had to take care of her in my flat because no one was home and she is only 5 years old. Anyway, I had to catch up on some work myself, so I left my android, Leo, with Sophie. Everything was going well, until I head her scream and so I rushed into the room. Sophie had a red mark on her face as if she had been slapped, and her head had began to bleed."

I shook my head. "Leo told me he didn't."

"Well, he is a liar! A-anyway, I pushed Leo back into the wall, and me and Sophie ran down to ground floor, where we phoned the police. But it cut off because considering my room is right underneath the ariel, Leo had probably knocked it and caused a power cut. From there, I drove straight to here, and I've been living here the past few days."

I quietly gasped, and sipped some of my tea. "Leo has been executed, so it is completely safe. The police department will pay for your flat to be repaired, so you would be back to normal in a jiffy."

"Thank you so much." She beamed, looking at all of us.

"No, thank you. We needed that information. Oh, and thanks for the tea." I said as we walked down the corridor and stepped outside the door.

"You're welcome any time!" She smiled and shut the door, before we walked back into the car.

"She put 5 sugars in my tea." Hank said bitterly, which made me laugh and Connor did chuckle a bit. "Well, this just got interesting."

"Yeah. But who to believe?" I sighed and wondered about the evidence. At the Connor of my eye, I saw Connor glance at me then back out the window, which was a bit weird.
