Also, slight trigger warning for this chapter. I don't know if anybody is prone to these (I am) but I described how it feels to have a panic attack. Being very clear, I wrote how I experience them. Panic attacks DO NOT feel the same for everybody. This is just how they've felt for me, which, I've heard, is one of the worst kinds to have. Not the worst, just one of the worst. I've only had one or two, but please, if you want to know more, DM me. I'm not going to tell personal stories, just what you ask. Questions, clarification, identifying, etc.

I walk into Tony's lab, telling him I was home from Marcie's house.

"Tony!" I yell

"Peter was with you last night, right?"

"For like, ten minutes. Yeah, why?"

"I told him to. Make sure you were okay."

"I'm glad you've openly admitted that, but do you not trust me or-"

"Gariner, right?" he asks, I'm kind of confused by his sudden outburst. "It's Marcie Gariner, right?"

"Yeah?"

"Marcie... That name sounds so familiar."

"My friends name-"

"No, from back when I was in highschool. There was a girl named Marcie and Rodgers hated her. One day she turned up dead and Rodgers was for some reason unhappy. That's it!"

"What?"

"Marcie, your friend, what does she look like?"

"Long blond hair, dark blue eyes, pale skin."

"Body shape?"

"Uh, she's about my size... A little taller. Tony, what the hell are you trying to get at?"

"Is she really happy and peppy and positive?"

"Yes?"

"Thought so."

"Okay detective, slow down. It's a sixteen year old girl."

"Or is it?"

"Tony! Stop it!"

"Stop what?"

"Marcie is the only other friend I've had. Stop ruining this!"

"Marcie isn't who you think she is."

"Tony! Just stop!"

"What's going on?" Steve asks, walking in with Clint and Natasha behind him.

"Mr Know-It-All here is ruining the only other friend I have my age!"

"Tony, what did you do?" Natasha asks, face palming lightly.

"He thinks my friend is some sort of experiment! She's not! I won't believe that for a second." I yell, walking off in anger. I'm not one to get mad easily, but this has thoroughly pissed me off.

"Peter, she wants to meet the actual you too, you know."

"Yeah, but Spiderman is so much more of an ice breaker." Peter sniffs

I let out a breathy laugh and shake my head a little. "My insecure little hero."

I wrap my arms around his torso.

"You didn't need Spiderman as an ice breaker for me. I know you're capable."

"Yeah, but now I hide behind him and let him do the talking. He's so much cooler than I am."
