You were sitting on a bench next to Jotaro leaning back, you had agreed to go with him and Polnareff to the barber like Polnareff wanted. He had brought the sword of an enemy stand user who had attacked him previously, the Anubis stand stand user. "You brought that sword with you?" asked Jotaro, Polnareff looked to the side "Ah.. Hey, can you put this sword over there?" "What are you going to do with it?" you ask "I'm turning it in to the police. It's a weapon, you never know who might find it, besides, it looks expensive." you nod.

"Make me look like the handsome 'Mr. Nice Guy' that I am" said Polnareff you sigh closing your eyes "Ow! Use a new blade or sharpen you razor! This is supposed to be the most relaxing part!" you roll your eyes even with them closed, you couldn't help but slightly smile at how whiny the french man was being.

"Yare yare daze... You're such a prima donna (a very temperamental person with an inflated view of their own talent or importance, you're welcome I saved you a google search, if you didn't know already of course )" "Not sharp? Sorry, sorry" said the barber, you opened your eyes slightly, not wanting to fall asleep, you glanced over at Jotaro, who was doing exactly the opposite, you sigh closing them again, but making an effort to not actually fall asleep.

"Hm... Nice, much better..." "I'm glad you like it..." "Très bien... Très bien, can you shave under my chin too?" "Sure... Under... Your chin..." the barber says in an ominous tone "Under the chin, right polnareff?!" he yelled, your eyes shot open and you immediately get up "It's me you fool! The Anubis stand!" your eyes widen as you hear the barber's words, you're frozen in place thinking on how to help him, and blaming yourself for being so slow.

As the barber tries to stab Polnareff's neck, the french man is quick to act, and presses the lever on his chair, making its back fall backwards, as Polnareff's back follows, making the barber stab himself "You're not our barber!" yells Polnareff, Jotaro wakes up and his eyes widen at what he sees.

"M-Maybe the sword is the stand... Is it controlling the barber? The one at Kom Ombo wasn't the real user...?" Polnareff thinks out loud. "Polnareff! It doesn't matter how hard you try! I'll always be stronger than you!" says the barber, you couldn't think of anything, until you saw Polnareff's Chariot struggling against the sword, the blade almost reaching its head.

"Ocean's Deep!" in sheer panic, you call out your stand, using your ability to throw protective force fields, that made the target seem like their Slim was hardened in a way.

You target Polnareff, right as the blade cuts through Chariot's head, only then, instead of a cut on his head, Polnareff only had a small bruise "M-Merci Y/N!" he yelled, you smiled. "Polnareff! Y/N! What's going on?! Is the barber a--" "He's not a stand user! He's under mind control!"you say interrupting Jotaro, quite a rare ocurrence since you were mostly afraid to even talk to him. But of course, this situation was much different. "S-She's right, Jotaro! The sword is the stand! It's too dangerous to use Star Platinum's bare fist against this sword! Plus, It's much stronger than before!" Chariot kicks the Barber throwing him backwards as he hits the wall, Chariot makes its move, swiftly striking at the barber, however, the barber defends it perfectly with his sword, resulting in Chariot's thin rapier vibrate violently.

Star Platinum punched the barber's face, knocking him through the window as he landed outside. The three of you ran outside to finish your fight with him. "Star Platinum... Not bad... You do have overwhelming speed, however... Now that I've seen it... I can beat it" you grit your teeth, as the barber jumps towards Jotaro ready to cut him open, you step back after Jotaro had asked you to do so.

To your surprise and relief, Star Platinum manages to grab the blade right between its two hands. "N-Naked blade capture! I-It can't be...!" says the barber.

Star Platinum breaks the blade in half and Polnareff sheathes it again. You sigh in relief.

"This sword has learned all of our abilities... If someone unsheathes ir again we might not be able to win" says Polnareff, you gulp.

"Hold it! This is the police!" you glance over as a man tugs onto the sword by its sheath, pulling it. " I came in response to a report that a fight broke out at the barber! What are you doing with a sword?!" the man exclaims, pulling the sword harder, Polnareff gasps. "Let go of it! Stop pulling" he says, he stumbles back as the blade is completly unsheathed, and he looks deep into it, your expression transforms into one of horror as Polnareff is controlled by the sword's power. "Polnareff!" you shout, grabbing Jotaro's attention N...No! Polnareff!" he says.

You position yourself facing Polnareff, it was your turn to fight. Anubis hadn't seen all of your moves, it was impossible for him to predict them for now. You summon your stand and are into Polnareff's eyes. Jotaro tries to step in but you stop him " It's like I haven't even done anything at all! I only fought against Death 13 a while ago and its was mostly Kakyoin's fight! It's time to change that! I want to help too!" you say trying as hard as you can not to stutter, truth is, you were actually terrified, but you didn't lie, you had barely fought since you joined the crusaders, and you'd been feeling guilty all this time that you were the only one left untouched.

Polnareff smirked "Well, well, look at this, the princess wants to fight! How nice!" you clench your fist at his words "Tch... Princess" you thought.

Polnareff came running at you jumping high to attack you, you swiflty use your stand to pull you away, dodging the attack.

Since you couldn't use your protective ability on yourself, and didn't have any other sort of protection, your stand had been blessed with pretty good mobility speed, not so much on your attacks though...

Ocean's Deep throws its whip, grabbing Polnareff's arm, you throw him onto the wall "Shit" you mumble, seeing that he still had a firm grip on his sword. "What interesting moves you have, but now that I have evaluated your speed, you don't stand a chance against me" said Polnareff, casually getting up. You tremble a little, but firmly look into his eyes..

Polnareff starts moving again, running at you and jumping high once more. "The same move again? This is hardly a challenge then.." you quickly dodge it, until.. "What?! When did he get so close?!" you think, he smirks as he uses Anubis to make a large vertical cut across your torso.

You fall to the ground hugging yourself "Y/N!" you hear Jotaro. You forced yourself to get up, without any success, you just kept falling back down, until you finally gave up. After seeing Star Platinum once, your conscience fading away.

You woke up on a bed, you looked around, Joseph and Jotaro were talking in the same room, you try to sit up, feeling a terrible pain across your whole torso, you fall back down, letting out a painful gruntz Jotaro and Joseph notice you and Joseph walks over to you.

"I-I'm really sorry... I was so stupid..." you say, tears forming in your eyes. Joseph pats your head "It's okay, we'll stay here for a while, for you to hea--" "No! We're running out of time to save your daughter! I'll go anyways, I just won't move that much..." you say, Jotaro flinches when you mention his mother. You tug onto the bed sheets covering your body, "A-All I've really done... Is make you lose more time.. I said I wanted to help... B-But I just ended up making things worse..." Joseph sighs. "Ok, I'll carry you so we can get moving, the cut isn't that deep, you should be able to move properly in a few days... Let's get going" he says, picking you up from the bed, you sigh, it hurt a little bit when he picked you up, but not anymore.

Apart from the physical pain, you felt a tremendous amount of guilt and remorse, for just making things more complicated for your friends.
