It had been eight years. Eight wonderful years since you had married the beautiful man that Noriaki Kakyoin was.

You now had a beautiful five year old girl that the both of you protected and cherished dearly.

It was summer, meaning it was sunny and warm outside, so the three of you decided to go out together, walk around town and maybe spend the day at the park and let Y/C/N play for a while. You could admit that being a parent was difficult, and so could Kakyoin, however it had brought the both of you great amounts of joy since you two had dreamed of having a family together ever since you got engaged, and even more when you got married.

Sometimes when you would be very busy and Kakyoin would be at work for the whole day you would leave Y/C/N with Jotaro, who, despite not liking children that much a while ago, had grown to like Y/C/N a lot, and told her about his stories in Morioh and Egypt, it scared you when she told you, but as she told the stories to you, you were relieved to notice that Jotaro had changed some things and left all the violent details he had reported to you before out.

"Y/N? Are you ready?" You heard your husband's voice from downstairs. "Yeah mommy! Hurry!" you giggled and finished putting your shoes on, and walked down the stairs, your child smiled excitedly and held your husband's hand. You smiled at them and held your daughter's other hand.

Kakyoin opened the door for you and the three of you left.

You stopped at an ice cream shop after your daughter asked you multiple times, surprisingly without throwing a tantrum. Kakyoin oferred to pay and got himself a cherry flavored ice cream, Y/C/N got chocolate and you of course, had your favorite.

You sat down to eat on the smal tables that the ice cream shop had outside, and quickly Y/C/N started talking about how excited she was to start school and how many friends she would have, how great it would be to be "grown up" and study, have homework and spend time with her friends. You and Kakyoin were both delighted by your daugther's enthusiasm.

Today was your daughter's first day of school. You had picked up her uniform for her and now you were helping her get dressed. She smiled at you and started putting her shoes on while you went downstairs to prepare her breakfast. You had the habit of waking up 1 hour earlier than the time you had to be there, so it was still very early, but your daughter didn't seem to mind that much since she went to bed early as well.

Breakfast was ready quickly and you called out for your daughter, who happily ran down the stairs, "Y/C/N, don't run down, you could fall and get hurt." you said, it almost happened once but thankfully Kakyoin had caught her before she hit the ground.

She frowned and nodded, you smiled and put the plate on the table, sitting her down. After she was done you picked up her school bag and held her hand and drove her to school. It wasn't particularly far away but it scared you to let her walk to school and back by herself, so you took her yourself.

You dropped her off and went back home, happy that your daughter was so excited to go to school.

You continued your work as usual, revising your book and wondering what you could write to make the next chapter insteresting (me lmao). You were alone at home since Kakyoin was busy at the hospital.

After a few hours you looked at the time for the 20th time already and realized you had to pick up your daughter in ten minutes. You let out a sigh and rubbed your eyes, looking at letters for so many hours straight was agony for your brain. You got up and walked downstairs, grabbing something to eat before you went outside.

You got in your car and drove to school, picking up your daughter who was happily talking to her friends before getting in the car.

"So, how was your day?" you asked in a soft tone, starting to drive back home.

Your daughter started telling you how fun it was and what she learned, how much she liked the teacher and the fact that she made tons of friends. She was a bit shy, like you, but she would socialize a lot and wasn't as nervous as you were when you were younger.

You nodded at what she was saying, never taking your eyes off the road. After a few minutes you were back home.

You took Y/C/N's things for her and walked inside, your child following behind, you decided to ask, "Sweetie, do you wanna get daddy from work today? He'd like it." you smiled, Kakyoin usually came by public transportation but you decided to get him today. You called him at work, you knew he was on break right now. He picked up.

"Nori, Y/C/N and I will pick you up from work today, is that ok?" he answered almost immediately in happy tone, "Of course! I want her to tell me about her first day and I want you to tell me your ideas for your book. I'll be out in two hours or so, I'll give you a call when I'm done."

You hung up and started thinking about the great happiness that you had achieved. You were married and had a beautiful daughter, you couldn't ask for more. You were happier than you'd ever been.
