While you were sitting down in the passenger's seat of Hoseok's car, you quietly pulled out your phone from your pocket before turning your head to look at Hoseok who was currently driving.
"Is it alright if I could make a quick phone call?" you asked, watching as Hoseok nodded his head before lowering down the volume of his music.
"Go ahead." Thanking him, you unlocked your phone before scrolling through your contacts to find a certain roommate. Once you've found their contact, you tapped on their number before bringing the phone up to your ear as you heard the dialling tone.
"Hey Y/N!" Hearing the slight excitement in his tone, you couldn't help but feel a smile come onto your lips.
"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I was leaving the house and if it was alright to leave Holly home alone?" Upon hearing your question about Holly, Hoseok quietly listened in on the conversation to see if his guess was correct as to who you were talking to.
"It's fine, don't worry Y/N. As long as you left some food and water, Holly will be fine." Yoongi reassured you, letting out a small chuckle by your sudden concern about his dog.
"I'll see you later then," you smiled, saying your goodbyes as you hung up the call before placing your phone back into the pocket of your hoodie.
"Was that Yoongi?" Hoseok asked, curious as to who you were talking to just a second ago.
"Yeah, I just wanted to let him know that I was out of the apartment." At the answer of your confirmation, Hoseok lets out a small groan before turning up the volume again as the music began to grow louder.
"Aw man, I wanted to say hi" Hoseok chuckled before moving his eyes back to the road. You continued to stare out the car window, slightly wondering what you got yourself into. Of course, you knew that Hoseok couldn't be a bad person since he was one of Yoongi's best friends. However, even if you have seen him a couple of times, neither of you have really had any formal time to get to know each other.
"You alright there?" Hoseok asked, chuckling to himself as he saw you sitting on the seat with your facial features all scrunched up together from thinking. Realizing that Hoseok could see your facial expression, you quickly came back to reality before giving him a sheepish smile.
"Sorry, I was just daydreaming to myself for a second" you admitted, turning your body around to face the front of the car.
"Was I included?" Surprised by his statement, you turned your head around to see him with a playful smile on his lips. With a raised brow, you let out a small scoff before turning back around to avoid his eyes.
"Nope."
"Whatever you say," he chuckled, turning his attention back to the road as you continued to look out the window, not realizing that an unconscious smile was slowly coming to your lips. Hearing only the sounds his music playing in the car, you decided to spark up a conversation between the two of you again.
