Your p.o.v
I was currently stuck in a boring predicament. My parents brought me to one of their friend's birthday party. I have no one to talk to and just my phone to entertain me.

"Hey, you made it!" My mom said. I assumed it was just another friend who happened to come in late. I paid no attention and plugged in my headphones.

"Oh? You brought your son." I sighed and started playing music. I was scrolling through the playlist when someone pulled the headphone out of my ear.

"Hey! What was that for?" I almost yelled out. Screw my reflexes.

"Nothing. I just wanted to see if it was really you, Y/n."

"C-C/n?" I stuttered out. I saw the person who came in and it was C/n's mom. I mentally 'oh'ed at myself.

"You know it. How about we go out to the park outside?" I debated whether or not I should go with my crush.

"Um, later. They're starting to eat and well, I love food more than I should." We both laughed and ate. Once we were done we went out. I sat down on a swing and C/n sat down in the one next to me.

"How come this is the first time I saw you at a party?" I asked. I've been to a lot of parties held by my parents's friends and this is the first time I saw C/n.

"Well, either I had something to go to or I was able to stay home." He replied.

"Then what's the difference with now?" I started swinging my legs causing me to go up higher and higher but I didn't go up that high.

"There was a special occasion. Confidential, so only I know why." I sighed and decided to drop the subject.

"The sky looks pretty." Which was true. The sun was setting so the sky was filled with various colours.

"This is gonna be a long night for us." C/n got of the swing as he said that. I got off too and went to the slide.

"Yep. I'm just glad you came. Otherwise I wouldn't have anyone to talk to." I said sliding down. C/n just waited at the bottom for me. Instead of getting up, I just stayed sitting at the bottom of the slide.

Suddenly, the atmosphere turned serious. C/n turned towards me, holding my gaze. My face felt hot and my heart was pounding. C/n's eyes held sincerity.

"Y/n, I-"

"Y/n time to go in. You too C/n. It's staring to get cold." My mom said. We nodded and followed her in. I was slightly disappointed. I wanted to know what C/n was going to say.

I looked at C/n who was beside me. He happened to already be looking at me. C/n smiled and I smiled back. I mouthed to him,

'What were you going to say'

Luckily he understood and he answered back.

'I like you'

I blushed and looked away. C/n just held my hand waiting for me to reply.

'I like you too'

Ummmmm... I feel like this isn't the best chapter I wrote. Stupid writers block. Anyways how's everyone's summer going so far? Mines going ok. Well I have to go, bye~.
