XIII ~ My First (official) Show

"Huh." I sighed. I looked over to the boys. "Looks like were splitting ways."

"Oh." Mikey said seeming upset. 

"Don't worry we'll still see each other." I reassured him. He smile before giving me a fare well kiss. I walked on my own to my dressing room while the boys walked to theirs. I finally got to the door that had my name on it. I opened it to see a bunch of snacks and drinks. I set down my guitar case and took a seat on the couch, only to remember I was first up for sound check. I got back up with the case and went to soundcheck.

I came back to my room and plopped back down onto the couch. I took out my phone and scrolled through Twitter for a bit, then continued to work on some new songs. A knock on my door caught my attention. A floof of red hair peeked into the door frame.

"Hey Gee." I greeted Gerard.

"Hey." 

He stood there for a while not saying anything. He looked kinda awkward.

"Yes, you can hang in here." I said while putting my guitar in it's case. He whispered a small 'yes' and walked into my dressing room. It was just him. Strange. "Where's everyone else?"

"Mikey and Ray are exploring the building doing lord knows what and Frank is napping. I was really bored just sitting in there so I came to see what you were up to.

"Well I'm up to absolutely nothing." I laughed. Gee chuckled but went silent again.

"Y/n.... I did it again." Gerard said quietly. I shot my head up at him confused until he showed me a bottle of pills. I rushed over to him and knelt beside where he was sitting.

"Gee, why?" I said while taking the bottle. He didn't fight this time. He just looked guilty.

"I don't know. It just makes me feel better. And don't say to drink an energy drink because that doesn't cut it." Gee tucked his knees up to his chest on the couch. I can't believe he did this again. I want to yell at him but I know that won't help. Instead I rested my hand on his knee and rubbed it gently.

"Gee, you've gotta stop this. I'm afraid that one of these times something really bad is going to happen. And I refuse to watch it happen when I know I can help you stop it." I told him quietly. He looked down at me, tears threatening to fall down his pale cheeks. 

"I don't know how to stop." Gerard's voice cracked when he said 'stop'. Hearing his voice crack like that hurt my heart. 

"I don't know either, but we're gonna figure how." I got up and walked over to the trash can. I opened the bottle and poured the pills out into the trash, as well as the bottle. Gerard just sat there and watched. He didn't try to stop me once again. He just watched. I walked back over to his and sat next to him. He pulled me into a hug and cried into my shoulder. I rubbed his back in attempts to comfort him. We sat there like this for about five minutes, Gee just crying and letting it all out. 

"I promise you're going to get through this." I whispered. Gerard took a deep breath and held onto me tighter  for a second before letting go. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve and calmed down his crying. 

"What the hell would I do without you?" Gee laughed while leaning back. I shook my head and smiled.

"Not a damn clue." I replied. I walked over to the cooler to see a few beers. Deciding he needs something to calm down, I brought one over to him, grabbing on for myself as well. He looked at me in complete confusion.

"I'm making an exception." I sat down as Gee took the beer and cracked it open. "To being mentally fucked." I raised my beer and Gee raised his with me.
