-8:30 A.M. Inside Jenesee's Apartment-

"Hey Damian, I'm gonna go out with some friends, wanna come along and meet them? Or are you not ready?"

Damian was on the couch watching TV. It's been a few days since he moved in with Jenesee, he was mostly inside the Apartment. He didn't feel ready to go out. However he felt bored just being stuck inside so he decided to tag along.

"Sure, I can't keep hiding forever."

Jenesee giggled and took a sip out of her Orange tea. "Great! I'll let them know that you're coming." Damian had to admit, he did feel nervous. He just hoped that Jenesee's friends would like him

"Ok, you better get dressed..and look fresh!

Damian nodded and ran into his room to change, he was still wearing his pajamas. Damian picked out his Goggles, a magenta sweater, and a pair of blue sneakers.

Damian walked out his room, Jenesee was by the doorway ready to leave. She was texting but stopped when Damian stood in front of her.

"Well? What do you think?" He asked.

"You look super fresh! I like it, love the combination." His goggles make him look so cute!

"Thanks..hope I can impress em."

Jenesee chuckled. "I'm sure they will be."

Damian walked out the apartment with Jenesee, she locked the door and they made their way to Inkopolis Square.

Damian and Jenesee waited for her friends to come.

"They should be here any moment..."

Damian placed his palm under his chin. I'm afraid they won't like me. I shouldn't of come..I should've st-

"They're here!"

Damian looked up and felt anxiety kicking in. 2 inkling boys and a inkling girl walked their way to their table. They were talking and laughing. The inkling girl waved at Jenesee. Jenesee waved back and got up and motioned Damian to follow her. He gulped and followed her anyways.

"Hi guys! I want you to meet Damian, he's harmless don't worry." The Inklings paused and stared at Damian. Finally, the inkling girl with the purple tentacle on her side with purple eyes stuck her hand out and smiled. "Hi the name's Nina, nice to meet ya! Jenesee's been talking a lot about you, I never expected it to be you, the Octoling everyone's been talking about...but I've always wanted to meet an Octoling anyway!

Damian timidly shook Nina's hand. "It's nice to meet you too..." Nina nodded and patted his shoulder. "Don't be scared, I'm sure we'll all become the best of friends! Right guys?" Nina turned to the two other inkling boys and cleared her throat. Both of them, snapped out of their trance. The green inkling boy with glasses and had a low ponytail with bangs on the side and yellow eyes shook Damian's hand next. "Hello, I'm Xavier, but you can call me "X". It shall be my gratitude to be your acquaintance, I've studied a thing or two about Octarians, and I must say I'm a bit fascinated by your kind. Please to meet you Damian."

Damian assumed that he was the "smart" one out of the group. They shook hands. Finally, the last Inkling boy, with the blue spiked tentacles, and red eyes, gave Damian a suspicious look, with his arms crossed. Damian looked back nervously and waited. Talk about awkward...The inkling finally spoke up. "I'll keep an eye on you...but I'll do my best to accept you, name's Leo. Pleasure to meet you."

"Alright! Now that we know each other, we should teach Damian the basics of turf war!"

"Wait, he hasn't tried turf wars yet??" Nina asked with surprise.
