"I haven't talked to him since school ended," Izuku confessed, "During the last day, he told me to jump off a building and hope that I have a quirk in another life."
(Y/N)'s mood dropped and a small frown formed on her face. "That's really mean of him," she said, "Do you know why he did that?"
"He was angry that I was applying to UA as well."
"Don't listen to him, Izuku-kun," she cheered, "You willget into UA and you will be the best hero that the world has ever seen."
"Thank you," he smiled back, "I'm just going to end the call and then I'll be there soon, okay?"
"Alright. I look forward to seeing you."
With that, (Y/N) shut off her phone and looked oustide the door, counting down the seconds until her friends appeared. She knew that Katsuki would be the first one to arrive and she couldn't wait to talk to him about Izuku.
"How's my favorite shitface," he questioned, kicking the door on his way in, "Did you have fun going on a ten month vacation without telling me?"
"What's up with Izuku?" She asked, getting straight to the point and ignoring his question. She could see his face change into one of confusion and then anger.
She didn't care if he was angry because so was she. He bullied Izuku for way too long and telling him to kill himself was the last straw. Ever since she spent time with Chiba-sensei, she noticed that she had gotten more confident. She wouldn't have dared to question him ten months ago.
Somehow, she was glad she could speak up because this issue had been bothering her for quite a while.
"What is this?" Katsuki laughed it off, "Not even a hello?"
"You can't tell someone to kill themselves, what is wrong with you?!" She yelled.
This was the first time that she had ever snapped at someone. She was usually calm and irrational but this frustrated her so much. She felt tears pricking the corner of her eyes.
Please just go back in there, she mentally asked her tears, I'm not even sad. Why am I this close to crying?
Katsuki looked at her in shocked and she knew the reason why. She had never yelled at him before and he could see the tears forming in her eyes.
"Fine!" He yelled back with just as much force, "Since you want to know why so much, it's because that worthless runt is also planning to go to UA. Pathetic, right?"
(Y/N) couldn't help but be shocked at his words. Just how much had he changed? Or maybe, it wasn't that he had changed. Maybe she just refused to see this side of his. She always saw him as the nice friend who saved her.
"You know what's pathetic?" She replied, her voice laced with venom, "Being scared of other people. Just so you know, I'm going to UA as well."
For a split second, his eyes widened and he glared at (Y/N) with an immense amount of hatred. "You know the fuck what? I'm leaving. Have fun hanging out with deku and getting attacked. Since I'm not here to save you anymore, maybe you'll both die and go to hell!"
She couldn't believe this. She let out a small laugh of disbelief. This was his true personality all along; she just refused to see it.
(Y/N) pursed her lips and threw her hand back. She threw her hand forward as hard as she could, whipping it across his face. The slap of skin vibrating echoed across the thin walls.
"Leave."
(Y/N) kept her head down so he couldn't see her but she was certain that he knew she was crying. He left without a word. When (Y/N) was certain he was gone, she wiped her tears and went behind the cash register.
There lay a single orchid flower that she planned to give to him for good luck.
