"D-do you all need something?" (Y/N) asked nervously, wondering why all three of them were looking at her like she was some sort of prey.
"I. . . I was just here to say that even if you lost, I can p-pay for my own lunch," Izuku stuttered, "I don't know why K-kacchan and Todoroki-kun are here though."
"That's sweet, Izuku-kun, I lost the race so I'm going to keep my promise." (Y/N) smiled radiantly and Izuku felt as though a thousand suns shone upon him, "So just wait for me."
"A-alright!"
Katsuki scoffed and (Y/N) raised an eyebrow at him. "She's sitting with me today, nerd," he sneered at Izuku, "And don't make her buy your lunch. You can do it yourself."
Izuku replied that that's what he was going to do initially but Katsuki yelled at him to shut his trap. (Y/N) deadpanned and told Katsuki that his group of friends could sit in the table right next to Izuku's so that they'd all be close.
"Why the fuck would I want to do that? Forget it!" He said as he walked away with his hands in his pocket but (Y/N) smiled because she knew he'd come around.
She was sure of it.
Todoroki raised an eyebrow slightly at the guy but spoke when he noticed (Y/N)'s gaze on him.
"(L/N)," he spoke, "I see that you're not wearing the pendant today."
Ohright, Iforgot that Itoldhimitwasokay, she mentally cursed as she tried to find a reasonable answer. "Oh, it doesn't go with the outfit I'm wearing today."
"You wore that same outfit yesterday," Todoroki pointed out as (Y/N) silently cursed at herself today, "We all are wearing the same school uniform. I don't like the fact that you feel the need to lie to a classmate. I apologize if I've made you uncomfortable."
Ohmygod, thisismakingmeuncomfortable, (Y/N) thought as she decided what to say next. It was true that she was lying but she didn't expect him to find out this soon. That'sa recommendation studentforyou.
"Okay, I'm sorry," she sighed, deciding that honesty was the best policy, "I lied to you because I thought that you would blame yourself for breaking the pendant."
"That would make sense because I was the one that broke it," he replied, "If it helps, I can buy you another one but I doubt that it is something that can be found easily. If not, name any amount of money you'd like."
