XXV ~ I Do Love You

I handed her the papers and she handed me Rowan. I love that name. Rowan. "Alright, your good." She handed me a leash for her. I thanked her and continued to buy things for Rowan like food and a bed and a few toys. Once I bought all of the stuff, I loaded it into my car and drove home. The whole drive home I was shaking with nerves. I planned out what I would say in my head. She needs to know how much I love her and how I promise to never leave her side. 

God I love her.

~Y/n's POV~

"Gee, why are you smiling?" I asked while putting my phone down. He's been smiling at me like a dork for the past five minutes.

"No reason." Gee shook is head. Fucking weirdo. 

The door opened up to reveal a smiling Mikey. Why the fuck is everyone so happy today? 

"Hey Mikes." I said while getting up to give him a hug. 

"Hey love." He said sounding a bit nervous. Huh.

"How did meeting your friend go?" 

"I didn't meet my friend." Mikey continued to smile. Okay?

"Where did you go then?" I asked confused. He held up a finger and ran back to the car to get something. He grabbed something black and white from the back seat. It was moving? What is-

Oh my god.

"Y/n, this is Rowan." Mikey said while handing me the puppy. 

"Oh my god Mikey." I gasped while petting the puppy. He walked into the house and shut the god damn door behind him. He and Gee glanced at each other while exchanging nods. Gerard soon pointed his phone at us and began videoing. Why?

"Look at her tag." Mikey said while fiddling with something in his pocket. I suspiciously looked down at her tag. The first one had her name and Mikey's phone number. The second one was a heart and had 'Marry Me?' engraved on it. Wait, what?

*Beep* *Beep*

I looked up at Mikey confused, only to see him down on one knee. I slowly placed Rowan back on the ground and placed a hand over my mouth to contain a gasp. Mikey took my free hand into his and began to speak.

"Y/n, I love you more than words can describe. I knew from the moment I wrapped you up in my arms on the street that I never wanted to let you go. I want to ensure to you that I will never let you go by making you my wife. So y/n, will you please marry me?" Mikey proposed. I felt a tear fall down my face. I nodded my head and whispered a small "Yes." Mikey slipped the ring onto my finger as I knelt down and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I love you so much." I said into his neck.

"I love you so much too y/n. I'm so happy I get to spend the rest of my life with you." Mikey wrapped me up in his arms tighter than he ever has. I could feel the joy radiating off of him. I never wanted to let go of him. Ever. I never thought someone could make me as happy as he does. 

Our sappy moment was cut short by Rowan jumping up onto Mikey's lap. Mikey chuckled slightly while wiping a tear off of his cheek. I did the same after petting Rowan. 

"So we have a dog now." Mikey laughed. I smiled as I picked Rowan back up and held her in my arms.

"We have a wedding to plan now." I laughed. 

"Wait does this mean I'm an uncle now?" Gee said with bright eyes. 

"I guess so." Mikey shrugged. Gerard ran over and took Rowan from me to pet her. I stared down at my new ring on my left hand, admiring it. It truly was gorgeous. Mikey scooted over to my side.

*Beep* *Beep*

"I picked it out because it reminded me of you." He said while taking my hand into his.

"How so?"

"It's stunning." Mikey kissed my cheek, causing me to blush. "Never gets old." 

"I can't wait to tell the guys." I leaned against his shoulder. He pulled out his phone and opened up his text messages. He typed around on his phone before putting it back in his pocket. I gave him a confused look.

"I told them to come over. They are on their way." He smiled. I playfully rolled my eyes.

"What's up fuckers?" Frank yelled while walking into out house, Ray following suit. Rowan jumped up from Gerard's lap to greet them. Ray gasped and picked her up.

"Oh my god what's it's name!?" Frank said looking at her collar. Confusion grew on his face as he read the tag. "Marry me? Odd name." 

"No you doorknob." I joked while holding up my left hand. Frank's eyes went wide as he let out a scream. He soon ran over to me and grabbed my left hand, staring at the ring. Ray set Rowan down and soon ran over to me as well.

"MIKEY YOU DOG!" Frank jumped up and down. 

"You proposed with a puppy?" Ray smiled. Mikey nodded his head excitedly. 

"MIKEY YOU DOG!" Ray copied Frank. 

"Did you say yes?" Frank stupidly asked.

"No, I just liked the ring." I remarked sarcastically. Frank rolled his eyes and set my hand back down. 

"When's the wedding?" Ray asked. Gerard joined us from the kitchen and seemed interested in the question.

"You know what date I like?" Mikey asked me.

"What?" I smiled.

"How about March 22nd?" 

*Beep* *Beep*

"Sounds perfect." I smiled while hugging his side. 

"I CALL DIBS ON MAID OF HONOR!" Gerard yelled. 

"No fair!" Frank pouted. 

"Frank, I'll let you be flower girl." I patted his shoulder. His eyes immediately lit up with joy. 

"Yes!" Frank air pumped his fist. 

"I love you dorks." I laughed while picking up Rowan. Something smells.

Ah shit.

"Looks like Rowan shit in the kitchen."
