The hero | Link x reader

You forced yourself to walk and carry Link.

You took him as far as you could from the castle with Akari following you. Suddenly, it started to rain. You found a big tree that could cover the three of you so, you went to it.

You put Link next to tree and started a small fire.

"(Y/N)." Link grunted.

"Don't move, you're hurt." You said.

"Are you okay, though. How's your ankle?" He cared more about you first than himself.

"I'm fine, it's healing. What about you?" You asked.

"My muscles hurt a lot."

You sat next to Link to keep him safe.

You sighed.

"We should've never went. It's all my fault. I'm sorry."

"Hey, just because it came after you and destroyed the Castle doesn't mean it's your fault." Link said as he got up.

"Link, your injuries."

"It's okay. It doesn't hurt that much." When he completely got up and took his hand out to you.

"Let's finish our dance, shall we?" He said.

You took his hand. It stopped raining.

You and Link were slow dancing in the moonlight. Outside in the field, quiet, calm and lovable. He had his hand on your wrist, yours on his shoulder and both of you were holding each other's hand. You were close to finishing the dance.

Light started to surround both of you as in becoming one.

"What...."

You and Link....fused. In a second, you unfused.

"....."

You and Link were both on the floor. Not saying a word to each other.

"Um...what was t-that..?" You said.

"Did we just became one...?" Link asked.

You turned to see Akari. She was staring and smiling.

"Alexandrite. That is your fusion name." She said.

"Alexandrite?" I asked.

"The fusion creates a name. That name is given by what you two feel or what your relationship is towards each other."

"Oh-"

"But, m'lady, it seems you two didn't finish the fusion."

You looked at Link.

You two were ready to give it another try.

You and Link held each other's hand and fused. Both of you didn't know how you two fused.

"Uhh- Akari?" Alexandrite said.

Alexandrite was checking herself out.

She had sapphire eyes and shiny like a beautiful pearl. She had long hair...the style looked similar to Link's. Light skinned, Boots colored brown with Link's design. Tights dark blue and light color between gray and brown. A skirt colored navy blue. A veil around her shoulder reaching down to her arm. Her belly button showed, bracelets colored brown like Link's. Gloves that had an Alexandrite color. The alexandrite gem was in her chest like you. Diamond shaped.

"Fusion like them...two people feel some kind of special feeling to connect...that must be....love." Akari said to herself.

"Hm?"
