Trust Me ?

It was quiet for a moment. "I love you." Jimin then said.

I pushed the phone closer to my ear. "I love you too." I said and we both hung up. I let out my breath. I didn't realise I was holding it until now. I stared at my phone. Did I do the right thing? I felt guilt shower over me as I thought about lying to Jimin. But I knew that I wasn't ready to face him right now. My head and feelings was still a mess.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. Who was it? Don't tell me Jimin came anyway? I rushed over to the door and started to feel panic again. What do I do now? He know that I'm home so I can't pretend to not be. I slowly opened the door, trying to prepare myself to act as natural as possible. To my suprise it wasn't Jimin.. it was.. "Yoongi?" I said a bit shocked over seeing him.

"Hey.. can I come in?" He said. I could see that he's been crying. His eyes was red and puffy. I hesitated for a moment. Did I want to deal with this now? But seeing the state he was in made me let him in. We went in to the livingroom and Yoongi sat down.

"Do you want something do drink?" I asked, feeling a bit awkward about this whole situation. Not only was it unusual for me to see Yoongi in this state, but it was also awkward to have him in my apartment. The last time he was here was the day we broke up.

"I'm okay.. can you come sit down? I want to talk." he said and patted the place beside him.

I did what he asked, but sat down a bit further away from him. "What do you want to talk about? I told you I need time for myself to think." I said avoiding his gaze. I could feel his eyes on me, and it made me nervous.

"I just wanted to apologise. For telling Jimin about you and Tae.. and that I made it sound like you were cheating on him."

I could hear that he meant it. "Then why did you do it? Was it to break us up?" I said now looking directly at him.

"I was desperate and angry." he said in a serious tone. "I didn't know you two were dating, but then I overheard him and Jungkook talking when we were at a party. He clearly said your name and that he wanted you two to be open with your relationship." Yoongi looked angry now.

"And that's when you told him about me and Tae? To break us up?" I said now figuring out the missing puzzle pieces from Jimin's story.

"Yes.. because I was angry. He was the one to make me break up with you. Don't you get it? He threathen me so I would break up with you so he could have you!" Yoongi said with tears building up in his eyes again.

"But that doesn't make any sense Yoongi. Why would he do that? We were only friends then and he didn't even tell me that he liked me until months later!" I said trying to understand this situation.

Yoongi let out a sigh. "You don't believe me.." he said and looked down in his lap. "I'm telling you the truth. He made me break up with you so he could have a chance with you." Yoongi said as tears started to roll down his cheeks.

I didn't know what to say or do. I was confused about everything and didn't want to believe that Jimin would do that, but what Yoongi was telling me didn't seem like a lie either. I moved closer to Yoongi and hugged him tight. I don't know why I did, but it just hurted me so much seeing him cry.
